I am only familiar with the CGC SS program. Can someone point me towards, or explain the program here and how it works?

You send in a book with an existing signature of note and it will receive an Authenticated Signature red label confirming (via third party) the signature's validity. If it's fake, it isn't given an Authenticated Signature red label. |

Ah, so this section deals with books that have already been signed but not verified? I was looking for the yellow label, which I think is the same as CGC? You go to an event and have a witness and all that? |

Only certain individuals can be verified: http://www.csacomics.com/cbcssignatures.htm So if you have a book from your childhood that is already signed by Stan you can have it verified(Red Label). The CBCS Signature set (Authentic Signature) works almost the exact same way as CGC's. Get a rep that has permission from CBCS to witness a signing and Bob's your uncle. |

Yellow labels are witness witnessed signatures at approved events. An Authorized Witness stood there and watched the creator deliver their John Hancock... so to speak.
