Just won this in a raffle on IG. The raw I purchased is currently out for grading. When back I’ll probably sell the lower grade but this one is still exciting and not bad for a few low priced raffle entries.

Its beginnign to look a lot like Christmas! More books arrived today. Always the best part of the week.

A set of Alien Vs. Predator Vs. Terminator that I picked up during the LCS Holiday Sale. These are oddly difficult to find, especially in in good shape. I was overjoyed these books were in the bargain bin. A set of Aliens (first edition, first printing); I knew book 2 was going to take hits, but its the nicest copy of that particular book that I've been able to find. I think these will be great on display above my comics cabinets, with the mini-comics & Kenner Aliens toys. Finally, the Skottie Young books from Comicpalooza are on slab! Finally, in every sense of the word. Much appreication to @DJC_II for the set of J. Scott Campbell Uncanny X-Men #1's. I can't decide if I want to put them on slab, or in a connecting cover frame like the '92 X-Men set. Depends on how much wall space I have left after the remodel.

Aliens Vs. Predator Vs. Terminator:

Dark Horse Presents #24:

Aliens (First Series):

Deadpool (Skottie Young):

Campbell Uncanny X-Men #1 (Set):

@BabaLament I kind of just fell backwards into some of the key books. Basically, one of the LCS here fell into it by the family members of a person who had passed. Anyways, there were sports cards from the 50s and 60s in it, as well as comics. The work crew at the home had to convince the family to take the comics. They originally only took the baseball cards. That's how I ended up with a GSX 1, FF 36 and 42, Marvel Preview 2 & 4, and some more SA Thor books. This collection had a run of X-Men from 3-141, SA Journey into Mystery and Thor, SA and BA Neal Adams Batman to include 232 and 234, Tales of Suspense, and Tales to Astonish. It was a hell of a collection that came in.

This could go here or the "auction wins post em if you got em." I worked out a deal on ebay for a couple of mid/low grade keys I've wanted for some time, and I cant really afford the higher grades. I may have overpaid a bit, but hey- tis the season. First up, one of my mini "grails" I've always wanted...
Conan #1

Next, new gods #1. I've always liked orion... and Kirby.

I was happy. The conan is actually brighter and better looking than I thought it would be too!

My daughter was givin this from a guy who won it at the comicbook show today. I guess he did not want it. It is pretty nice and a little mature for a 14 yr old. She said I could hold it for her and sell it down the line for her. Dave Stevens cover.

I haven't bought many comics to add to my collection this year, but I went to a small show over the weekend and decided to buy myself a few presents.

2018 was a big year for me, with purchases of HOS #92, Avengers #1 SS (signed by Stan Lee), a 9.4 Hulk #180 slab, ASM #1 slab, 49 early JIM/Thor's, several pages of art, and many more Silver/Bronze.

Today's delivery is how I'd like to finish it.

EDIT: Posted a comic here (Darth Vader #3). Officially have to sell it because I found the one Star Wars: The Vintage Collection figure I wanted on a European card. And it is UKG graded, which makes me wonder how much UV protection their cases offer.

I'm doing a Doctor Aphra bundle ( "CBCS 9.8" Darth Vader #3 + "CGC 9.8" #25 Aphra variant + MOSC "TVG" Doctor Aphra) if anybody is looking to buy.

@Instant_Subtitles Are you saying that there is a defect with the case? I am not sure what you are saying.

@MR_SigS Very nice way to close out 2018!

The last of my initial submission to "the other guys" came home. Overall, thrilled with how everything came out; no Newton Rings or other case issues. 70 books, final TAT of five weeks. 'Nuff said.

Full set of Punisher (first series):
