Small and unusual mail call for me. I actually got two modern, American comics today!!! LOL

The first is the Comics Elite variant of Dceased #1!!! I just LOVE this rendering of the Joker!!! It looks incredible in real life!! I usually couldn't care less about COA's, but I thought it was nice touch to have the cover art on this one.

The second comic is from an artist friend of mine on facebook. It is Metal Shark Bro #1, Webstore Exclusive cover, from Scout comics. The cover art is done by my friend, Bryan Silverbax. This is his first cover with Scout comics. He has done some "very indie" covers before, but this one is a big step in his career!! I ordered my copy direct from him with a signature and a remarque. He has at least two more covers lined up with Scout. I think it is a cool cover and I look forward to reading it!!

This is actually one of my favorite covers for ANY character, not just Deadman. I love SA #207. Great combination of colors.

I think he means the Drawing on the cover.

GanaSoth is correct. I can only WISH I owned the original art!!! I was referring to the background image on the COA. I don't often get COA's, and when I do I typically ignore them. But this COA caught my eye with the image and I thought it was a nice touch.

@earthshaker01 wow... that is something ya see on those TV shows where people go around buying rare antiques and stuff. I'm sure you can get a pretty penny for that Buck Set. Especially older gentlemen that were kids during that time; wanting to relive their childhood by buying memorabilia.

I really hope he does another signing this year. Last year I think he was at Alamo City Comic Con so maybe they can lure him back again

@poka I won the ff49 on eBay, I messaged the seller to see if they had more booms for sale, I asked if he had a asm 101, sold that one for 70, I'm still amazed. Then he messaged me to see if I was interested in the rest of his books, they belonged to his dad. I was shocked to see how he shipped them

@Batman66 that ASM #101... what luck... what a find!
But the sellers shipping methods... what a waste.

Here is the cool part he had 6 of them. He said they came from an estate sale of a former TV salesman. I wasnt sure what they were worth, but couldn't pass up.
Heritage auctions sold one last week that was opened missing pieces for 204.00.
So these have got to be worth at least that. Here are the other 5

@earthshaker01 I'm sure it's worth more than $204 with it unopened... yeah definitely more.

Here's an advertisement for it on sale on eBay. eBay Ad Listing

eBay has opened versions, missing parts etc. Not like yours.

@GanaSoth yea I'm really just a comic guy. I try to stay in my lane of high grade esoteric GA and SA #1's, #nn's, promos, Dell, but when I come across something odd like this I bite once in awhile. Just because it's kinda cool.

Really happy to get this one, although I'm not a fan of the large Newton Ring blob right in the center.
