| @Batman66 I got really lucky with getting the collection I'll bore you with my story. About 2 years ago a guy I know sold 2 copies of X-Men 1 and told me after the fact. Said I would have loved to have bought them and to give me first dibs on anything else for sale. So last June he said he wanted to sell the rest of his collection which was 11 long boxes. Bought it all the next day. My collection until then was 1 long box so just like that it increased over 1000%. Sold off 6 boxes of common stuff and sent about a dozen books to CBCS for grading. The only key issue I've sold so far is the Hulk 181. | ||

| My one pick-up from a small local Con today. TMNT #1 (2nd Print) CGC 9.0, signed & sketched by Eastman. I’d prefer not pay for a sig & get a higher grade instead, but I’ve looked for an 8.0+ 2nd Print for years. While this may not have been on my short list of goals for the year, it really should have been.   |

| I have a list of approx 1500 comics with target grade which I aim for my PC. I recently sold a few single digit FF which did not meet my target grades and I immediately regretted it. So I have moved a few items from my sale inventory to my PC. If I later on come across a better grade then I will upgrade. |

 I bought/read this series when it came out, but years ago sold my set thinking I'd buy the trade...never did. Got a great deal online, which included both covers to issue 1, and they look NM+ 9.6/9.8 which is a bonus! Glad to have them back! |

 Heard rumors of a Dark Crystal movie in the works (prequel)...decided I should grab one of these in decent shape in case it took off. One of my favorite movies growing up...Not your typical Jim Henson muppet based movie... I also like Secret of Nimh and Watership Down. I guess I was into dark/moody cartoons. |
