I had not realized the 1966 was the first printing of this, I have a 1973. The guy also had the graded book for $20. No good reason to buy it, but I have room in a box, and it seemed more fun to get it too

I've been looking to upgrade this issue for a while. It's not a hard comic to find, but that black cover is unforgiving, and every NM copy I came across was priced at about 5x guide raw. Finally was able to get one without grossly overpaying. Very pleased. No color breaks or fingerprints. The picture makes it look like it has a few flaws, but that's light on the bag. It's a solid 9.4. Maybe 9.6 on a good day.

Magazines came, I now own five graded. Apparently my eye is set at 9.6. Fun chasing though.

So this happened today.

The 180 is such a rag, I'm embarrassed taking it's picture.

Just picked up the variant of Crypt of Shadows #1
(Very strange cover for a horror comic.)

😆. It comes in spurts.

Shipping from the UK gets a little pricey for single issues, so I had to be picky on the last few.

61, “Anything worth doing is worth overdoing” has been my motto forever.
Cost me a lot of joint repairs though, but still do stupid stuff

This arrived earlier today. I’ve hunted for the large scale version of this bust for quite a while.

The last one I purchased arrived in pieces.

My Dad made the best of it and gave me a temporary fix.

For the time being, he’ll be snuggled up to Black Widow until I install a new proper shelf for him.
