@roarzola It looks like Robocop if the costume was made out of winkled, blue trash bags

If they are going "dark and more grounded" I think they've already lost touch with the source material.

I think IntoAnother would be the one to explain what direction they are planning in going as he talked to Edlund and crew at SDCC in passing about it. If he's still excited about it, it cannot be that bad |

In an earlier interview, executive producer Barry Johnson, who worked both on the original and the reboot, added to Edlund's comments, saying that The Tick will be "darker and more grounded" than the original take on the character, with a "real story, a real hero's myth." This is from an interview on the IGN website. |

As always, I should have chosen my words more carefully, I think he would give a better explanation on the spin they are putting on it

Adjectives like darker and more grounded, what does that exactly mean when comparing it to a comedy? Does it mean it will be more dramatic than comedic? Does it mean the humor will be darker? It doesn't explain anything |

Going the more "grounded" route would really eliminate a lot of crazy stuff we like about the Tick. Chairface Chipndale Man Eating Cow Arthur's constant desire not to get punched in the face. |

I'm sorry, but the Tick just isn't the Tick without the big, overgrown chin.

@Despain Thank you very much, I'm extremely happy with the results. It's not often I get sketches done by anyone other than the creators of whom I'm requesting to be sketched, but his work just really resonates with me.
