Uno & Chutes and Ladders are no brainers, Magic 8 ball has always been a good toy also.

Uno, snakes and ladders...can't decide on a third.

Snakes and ladders is evil by the way...can take hours to complete if you keep sliding down!!!

@infinityG no no no no...chalk is a teachers aid and tic tac toe is more of a concept. I don't think either of those are toys.

Speaking of teachers... i have a 10yr old so here is a good teacher joke
What do you call a teacher who leaves the room to fart?? A private tooter!!

Since you mentioned voting and Election Day I'll stick my neck way out and make choices based on that criteria...

American Girl Dolls (for strong women candidates and turnout)

Magic 8 Ball (for wild polling swings & it's anybody's guess)

Pinball (because The Who's Pinball Wizard from Tommy naturally segued into Who's Next and Won't Get Fooled Again)

We'll just have to wait and see if any of these guesses poll well!

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

If MOTU makes it in after Transformers got snubbed for the past few years, I’m going to me Uber pissed.

And Matchbox Cars didn’t make the ballot this year either...while Hot Wheels is already in the hall.

Sorry, can’t take this or the voting seriously.

That being said, some good basic classics on the list. Didn’t a cardboard box get in last year?

Used to love the Electonic Football shakers everyone would buy their favorite team and try like heck to "tweak" the feet feelers to make them run straight. It was funny as hell to put them out there out of the box to watch them spin in circles!!! Hey what can I say it was the only Super Bowl the Vikings ever won!!!

@esaravo

If you click on the name of the toy in the above link, it gives you the history of it.

". . . from drawing in the sand on the beach, to building a campfire and then toasting marshmallows. Sticks are not only possibly the oldest toys, they’re possibly the best!"

That settles it. My kids are getting sticks for Christmas!!

That is so hilarious! I know what they're getting at adding Sticks to the toy hall of fame but its sound so funny...blankets, sticks, cardboard boxes...I'll try selling that to my kids as well.."sticks and boxes for Christmas this year!!"

If they complain, you can show them that you got them hall of fame toys. Not those other crummy toys and presents they wanted.
