@esaravo @JustABitEvil I was early in line and waited a bit as she was doing the photo op. she made up for the waiting by letting most of us have a few extra minutes of face/talk time.and she was cool..here are my sigs for the day....I go back tomorrow just to look at comics.. |

I was there today. I think next year the show should change its name to "Celebrity Con". It'd seriously be more appropriate

on an interesting side note..went by the CGC booth...they had a lot of ipads /laptops out..so when a person wanted to submit a book , they had to do the data entry on the pad..I did not see any multi-copy paper forms there...

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. | drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
@esaravo Be forewarned, Cassandra has a cold and was in a bad mood when I got to her booth late in the day. It probably didn't help that I had 44 books for her to sign. Aside from the Elvira Rhode Island exclusives I picked up I can't say I did any shopping but I got all of my signatures and got a couple freebies from Rob Liefeld's booth after spending about half of my money there. The only books I didn't get signed were a couple I had for Ron Pearlman who cancelled. |

So she just signed Elvira on the front in Silver. |

I am sending in 98 books that I had signed in Rhode Island to CBCS for grading. Some of these books have additional signatures from NYCC or ACE Chicago. I also had several hand sketched covers signed by the celebrities in the sketches but these are not getting slabbed. Let's start off with the group shots: |

This group includes Jack Mandrake with two books he sketched and CJ Oech with his book. I also have the books after they were signed by Ice-T, Michael Rooker, and Joe Pantoliano. |

Here are the rest of the signed books up close along with a Deadpool sketch I got from Dan Panosian at NYCC: The last image is from a book I had Ice-T sign for someone else. The guy asked him to essentially write a whole sentence on the book. You can see Ice-T's response for yourself (he did sign the book). |

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. | xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
@drchaos Curious - why get a blank sketched with something that has nothing to do with the comic? At that point why not get a sketch on a backing board or something else?

@drchaos Impressive amount of cool autographs .and i appreciate all the work you put into obtaining them (long waits in line etc).....and I can envision the dollar amount you spent- have you ever thought about just buying 1- or 2 Mega keys insteadof all the sigs? ..I mean Liefield charged more for deadpool sigs ...and he really isn't worth the extra coin...

I almost always get sketches on blank comics because I like the way they look and I know they will fit in a bag / board or top loader so I can keep them from getting damaged. |
