The invoice now reflects invoice is paid in full and has moved to labels. In regards to increase in price due to book value increase. That has occurred to me on last shipment. However, now I am trying to figure out if it worth it to have it pressed. |

Hey! It’s been awhile, hope everyone is doing well. I currently have two orders with CBCS. Received date: 8/3 = Received Received date 9/4 = Received Really hoping my 8/3 will complete soon! Has anyone noticed TATs improving? |

Honestly, I can live with the looooong TATs, if stuff is done without skimping on quality then that's great - it's what we're paying for. But.... the complete lack of updates to our dashboards over a stint of 5+ months is RIDICULOUS. Order dropped off: June 17, marked received July 15, crickets ever since. I get it. It takes time to hire and train graders. Makes sense. But for the love of God hire some IT maybe to get the tracking and updating worked out??? There are even IT consulting firms that rent them out to you!!! /endrant |

In my case. I use the circled as the recieved date. I typically refer to my recieved date as the day it arrives at my house. But you can see my order was entered may 1st. Keep in mind this includes pressing on both books. |

@Bronte I always hate the 'insured' value. How do we determine it?? I too have a Batman 232 - I spent less than $80 on it but like 15-20 years ago and other than a date in pen on the back cover it is 9.???. Now the date shouldn't affect the grade as even in 9.9 "small, inconspicuous dates/initials allowed" and what could be less inconspicuous than on the back!? |

@KatKomics You know. That was one of the first questions I asked when I signed up on the board. Out of the responses stated, you should put whatever is closest to guide or real value. (I cant grade for crap so I just arbitrarily insert numbers and hope the comic book insurance covers whatever fed ex doesn't.) As for your 232, we can compare grades after you get yours done. I bought a PGX book before knowing it was a useless grade. It was an 8.5 You know what's funny is how much the hulk 181 went up in value since i submitted it. If it scores 2.0 or above. The book went up quite a few hundred sitting in their vault.... =) |

Order dropped off at a convention on June 24, marked received July 13, nothing since. I hope they are at least catching up. A little discouraged at this point and considering giving CGC a shot on another book to see if they're any faster. |

I had a Giant Size X-Men sent off for pressing and have already received it back. I was never able to get hold of anyone to express my concerns since the grading notes have a lot creases that pressing should have fixed. It came back as a 7.0. Seems like pressing should have fixed those flaws. It never showed out for pressing, I didn't even know it had been complete until FedEx email for delivery was sent. Notes: Signature verified by BAS small creases top & bottom left corners back cover & left edge back cover does not break color tiny chip top right corner front cover spine stress & wear most breaks color creases bottom right corner front cover does not break color light surface wear front & back cover breaks color very tiny tear left edge back cover |

I wasn't upset with it. That was the 2nd Giant Size X-Men I had graded. They were both bought in the early 80's for $30 and $75. One graded for 7.0 and the other a 9.6. No complaints.

That's crazy that in the early 80s that book sold for $75. Seems high for that time. Still a good investment and I wish I had one.

so i got my first cbcs submission back today. i did the quickstream and it took about 20 days from when it left my house until when it arrived back home. decent enough turnaround time. the holder is quite nice. kinda of strict grading i think. |

#imcnok Wow! That is awesome! I do agree with you. I would say CBCS grades harder than any of the others, but really that's what you want. If you just wanted a high grade you would have sent it to PGX. You didn't want that, you wanted an honest grade. Even at a 6.5 I would be happy. If my X-Men #1 comes back above a 2.5, I'm gonna be ecstatic. Awesome TAT BTW. |

Even with the cluster that is slowly clearing, this is still the best product and so happy to be a part of their success. Customer for life, just confused. |
