Here's is why I am really worried. Last year I received 40 books that were not mine in another order. I contacted customer service but that was in the wilderness days when they weren't too great at answering the phone. Anyway through multiple emails and what not it took them over 6 months for CBCS to send a FedEx label to me so I could ship them back. Yeah, if I was a jerk I could have kept them because there was no way they would have known where they were. I'm worried they shipped those books in another order to another customer and if so, would they be as honest as I was? And even if they were honest, how long would it be until I received them? Ay-yi-yi...

I wasn't going to say anything about the 40 books they shipped by mistake to me until this happened. I am NOT a happy camper right now.
holy sh(t!!! I hope that dosnt happen to my order of 62!!! I had some really good books and 18 were yellow label!! I’m only 6 hours away from clear water Florida and for $1500 worth of books I will drive there not call if they make a mistake like that🤬. Man I am mad for you bro for real!! I hope that gets fixed and you get some kind of compensation because there is no excuse for a large mistake like that!!

Well, some good news. They found the package but didn't hear to which address it was shipped. CBCS has rerouted the package back to them where they will look it over and make sure every thing is correct. They were nice about it on the phone - still will have some butterflies until I receive them.

How long does 'Labels' usually take and is the next step shipping or QC?

What do we think - 8 to 10 weeks extra for pressing??

Have some books that are 8 weeks in today but have shown as pressing for about 2 weeks

I think that's about where they're at. My last order said 'pressing' all the way until it actually entered grading, if I remember right, so you'll see pressing for a while.

Just wanted to say keep up the good work!!!

...and these books are arriving at Fedex office today for pickup after work. So less than 2 months. Pretty damn good.

I can't believe that I'm still waiting on books from mid October.

Has anyone submit anything to the Canadian location yet? I'm still not really clear how it works, are they grading up here or is it a hub?

How does the pressing/cleaning work with it?

@Terry88 It’s basically a facilitator, they arrange for the books to be sent to the facilities in the United States that handle the pressing and grading services and returned when they’re done

@Terry88 I thought there was supposed to be an FAQ but I haven't seen anything yet.
Interested to see how it works if I hand books off at a convention in Canada will I get lower shipping back to this location and then out to my house or will it ultimately still be cheaper for me to ship to my US mail service?

Ya, the info seems pretty limited as far as I can tell. I started picking my stuff up over the border and it's saving me about $50 per shipment so I doubt this new depot is gonna do anything for me at all.

Today my invoice says labels except for the one I sent off for screen press!! 🤗🤗. 61 books got through grading in one week??? So either they were all easy 9.8 or higher or they rushed through and I’m going to have messed up slabs come back to me??? I just hope they didn’t rush through and mess my stuff up just so they can keep there word on there new turn TAT?? I honestly was in no hurry because I don’t resell so for me it’s not a problem taking a little longer but hey if they can have them done before hero’s con then I will be a happy person because I believe I have something Bob McLeod can sign, just sucks I’ll have to crack a brand new slab😂😂!

Ms marvel might have had something on an inside page you were in aware of possibly? They flip through each page when grading

My Fast-Pass order of 5 Consumer/Expanded comics was delivered today. I mailed the comics to CBCS on March 26, and they were received by them on March 28. That's less than four weeks, so I guess the 8 week normal TAT quoted must be working!

Has anyone else noticed that on the CBCS website - under pricing - that the listed TAT is now (and again) 15-20 weeks for modern, expanded and consumer?

The 8-10 week window for grading didn't last long. Or the website is wrong.

The site hasn't been updated. Current TAT is currently in the 6 week range. NOT including pressing obviously.

That's great but the best news that I want to hear about is that they're slabbing mags now! I've got 3 puppies waiting to be slabbed and no idea about when and if my favorite grading company is ever going to do it!
