@KatKomics what does "week 20 of 24" mean? Were you told it would take 24 weeks?...from where?

TAT calculator and on initial invoice had an estimated 24 week turn around from time of receipt.

Your invoice should say 'processed within XX weeks after receipt' or something similar to that when you click into it on the dash board, likewise if you click into the PDF it should show stages as it progresses through the system.

Fully expect delays..just not sure how long, and like I say I have had no advancement of status on the various places to look at your invoice

Pretty sure they are prioritizing the older submissions, that in conjunction with the invoice updates not updating I have heard of people coming home to find their books delivered while still at processing on the site!!

Maybe you'll get lucky soon! - fingers crossed for you

Friday (10/26/2018) is six weeks delay plus the TAT guesstimator!

So, how should I calibrate my expectations regarding a shipping e-mail? Guardedly optimistic? Cautiously hopeful? Somewhere between "infinitesimal" and "forget it"?

@TimBildhauser I've emailed with no response to Customer Service. Could you or someone with CBCS in this forum check on order 18-13010E4. Books were handed to you at a convention in Toronto in March (submission date of April 5) and were all in labels, now most are showing in Grading and one in Shipping.

Would really appreciate some type of update.

Is there some kind of delay in logging books in to the system? I shipped three to Dallas that would have arrived Monday

From everyone else's experience, how long should 8 books take in labels before they move to shipped? does 10 days seem excessive to put 8 stickers on some plastic?

I've been in Labels for a month.

@GAC Well that's depressing, I just went into Labels a few days ago according to the Invoice (my dashboard still says Grading).

Its all good....the change to Shipping will happen...they're working on it I know....just wanted to manage expectations when people see Labels as a status.

I submitted my comics at SDCC 2018 in July, they were received on July 30th, This Halloween will be 13 weeks from when they received it. I haven't received any update other than my comics are sitting in their "safe". I hope that the 13 week turnaround is accurate. Will try to post whenever I get an update, or receive the comics.

@Nateverine No it's not accurate, you will likely be waiting for at least another 3 months at the current rate. I submitted 5/19, rec'd 6/4...and I'm still waiting, you can see from the thread that there are people that submitted in April and even March that are still waiting. I would be shocked if I got my books by the end of November.

I was just told my expanded fast pass will be at least 20 weeks, how is this acceptable if you work there? You sell a service at an estimated 8-12 weeks when you know the earliest is 20 weeks- that is fraud. If you know the estimate is complete in accurate, that is fraud- I really do not care if you moved offices months ago, be a solid company and put accurate estimates on your site. no more b.s excuses of your doing too good of business with too many books. CbCs use to be a great company that would give you credit when they missed their estimates. Now they do not even respond to emails. If they do not respond to my emails or address all of our concerns, I am going to start doing chargebacks for missing estimates they right now can not make. If you submit right now, is there a 1% chance of those estimates? Been that way since May? Than you know it is a lie to post those estimates and in the foreseeable future those estimates are nothing more than a fake number. CbCs- do the right thing and get a front of this

Throwing my 2 cents in the pile...

Tomorrow will be 13 weeks for me. I submitted as an AW for the North Texas Comic Book show and they show "Received" in the system on July 27th. The next step is "Verified", right? I know I'm still a good 3 months away from getting my books but not sure if they should have at least been "verified" by now and not still at "received"..? Anybody have experience they can share? Thanks.

I submitted at C2E2 and it took 19 weeks to get back 3 comics. They did come back but it sure was a very LONG wait.

Still patiently waiting, submitted two books at Orlando Megacon on 5/27. Still showing as "Received". Any one else waiting for books from that Con/timeframe?

@DarthKribs How was C2E2 this year? I went last year & felt it was pretty miserable. Crowded, narrow isles, militant security folk, and hot; like McCormick Place couldn't be bothered to turn on the air conditioning. Very nice people, vendors were cool; but it was wall to wall people. I like a little personal space.

@BabaLament It was a mass of humanity for sure! People were super nice and the lines for Tom King, and other DC talent were outlandish!

My submission that was received 5/23 went from labels to shipping and completed as of yesterday. 5 books, modern submission, no fast pass, no pressing, no sigs. Just for anybody keeping track of TAT from May.

@DarthKribs That was ALVCC for me; the lines for Todd McFarlane & Kevin Eastman wrapped around the convention center twice. It was kind of funny. McFarlane's booth handlers were trying to move things along & he was having too much fun talking to people; asking why they chose (enter item here) for a signature or taking photos w/ cosplayers & kids. Same w/ Eastman, he was doing remarks (little turtle heads), taking pictures w/ kids in turtle costumes, having a good time.

Located between their booths was Robert Liefeld. He looked like he was pissed off at the world. *shrug*

I did like how they had the CBCS booth set up; it was right in the middle of the hall, along the main travel path. Submission/witness team was on point too; really nice guys.

I submitted one Expanded tier book (no pressing) on June 5th. I'm still in "Processing" purgatory, but it seems that June submissions will be actioned starting in November. Hopefully I get my book back before Christmas to conclude a half-year-long odyssey that I prepaid, in cash.

I will not submit again with CBCS until the TATs are back on time. Believe me, I want CBCS to fly high once again, give CGC real competition, and bring renewed value to our slabs. It is in all of our interests and for the good health of the hobby.
