Has anyone submitted recently? I don't see a TAT estimate on my submission page or the invoice; wondering if that's new or a rarity.

My submission from July 27th has moved into "Grading" on my dashboard and "Labels" on my invoice. Finally some movement!

@DazeOfWar According to what you are seeing, your books are in grading now. On my account, the top left will always say either "Submitted, Processing or Completed." Only those three things. Where yours now says "grading," you are seeing what stage in processing you are in. After grading (in my account) comes "labels, QC, shipping, and completed." Hope this helps.

My July 17th order of 15 Moderns, no fast pass, sigs, or pressing shipped today! What a great Christmas present! Another order of 15 Consumer tier comics has been in grading/labels since December 18th (but they were submitted almost a month after the first order). I do think things are moving a little quicker.

Thanks for the info. So I should probably assume another month or so. What a joke.

My first order will be at 21 weeks this Friday with no updates. Here is a quick look at my email conversation with CBCS.

Order submitted 8/3 I asked for an update on 11/20 and receive an automated response below.
11/20: About 16 weeks in the process
CBCS: "Unfortunately, many orders have fallen behind the estimated 8-12 week window for our standard tiers (Modern, Expanded, and Consumer), and are currently 4-6 weeks"

I followed up again on 12/10, they responded on 12/13
12/13: About 19 weeks in the process
CBCS: "Your books should be done around the beginning of January."

TODAY: I'm almost at 21 weeks. If they are correct with "beginning of January" mind you... they use "should be done"... (my wife hates when I use words like should, maybe, probably ) Anyway, this should put my entire experience at 22-24 weeks total.

If I don't receive them by the first Friday of January, I'll ask them for another update.

Thanks everyone for all the stories... I feel like this forum is more of a "counselor's corner" for us

Mine, June 5th submission ... press, no fast pass (Expanded tier) ... has shown "processing" for many, many months.

That said, about 8 days ago, Steve Ricketts posted (scroll up) "Pressing through like June 12 is done and should be in Dallas on Friday [I think he means Friday, December 21]. They may not get everything checked in until Wednesday or Thursday of next week [I think he means Wednesday, December 26 and Thursday, December 28] because of the holiday. Expect those orders to be graded and into the slab room shortly after."

So, i think submissions like ours are in the red zone and should be across the goal line (i.e., back home) in another 3 weeks -- so mid-January 2019. My best guess.

Order received 7/15
Books have been in “grading” for 12 days...
Seems unlikely that I’ll get them back before the 6 month mark... 6 MONTHS! ಠ_ಠ

Yeah I understand. You have some more time to wait. Our orders are a month ahead of you and our six month mark has passed too. Expect February since we anticipate January.

My 3 older books still say received but all the modern are in grading. I'm guessing they are all in grading or maybe they will update once the moderns are done. I dunnnnnoooo I'm just happy we've finally got to this point.

Not sure if this is the appropriate thread, but it is related. I submitted a comic on 9/22/2018. I don't actually care how long it takes, as long as I see the comic again. It was a Green Lantern #3 witness signed by Joe Giella. However, when I log into the CBCS account it is completely blank. Nothing under open orders, recently graded, my comics, or, order history. There is no mention of me having ever submitted anything through CBCS. I was charged in November for the grading/processing. Is it normal to have basically no indication they even have your comic 3 months in? 3 e-mails to CBCS asking about this issue have gone unanswered. I received one response; it was a form letter apologizing for how long the grading is taking. Wasn't at all what I was asking about, just want verification they have my book.

Did you have pressing?? Mine were handed off at NFCC on 6/3 but with pressing. Nice to see others with July dates getting theirs back - with pressing that should mean another 4 weeks??? (despite other notes saying June pressings are mostly done)

I too have no movement from "received"

13 days later, no change. I am hopeful since the next major holiday isn’t until Easter.

One of my three invoices from SDCC shows in Grading now (yeah!), but two others still just show Received, as do two others from May. Been pretty quiet about the whole thing as a result. A lot of my stuff is AW and/or pressing, which has some to do with the delays, which is fine.... Just hoping I see some movement soon-ish.

Glad to see that you have some movement. Hoping that they get some significant movement done now that the holidays are over. Two weeks ago, they posted that the pressing through June 12 was done and should be moving to grading in a couple of days. You are saying that you have May stuff that is stalled, so not sure what to think. I keep checking my dashboard and invoice to see but no movement yet. I am not sure but I think this is my 29th or 30th week.

Anyway, I am hoping that I am pleased with the final product. I am not sure how a couple of mine are going to grade at but it is always fun to see.

@mrelowe I hope that's the case. I just remembered the specifics on them... One is five books with pressing I shipped in May, and CBCS had them on hand in late May. The other is five books, but they were sent on to a facilitator for further sigs, so CBCS got them in June, so the pressing ETA makes sense.

I got back two random books from the same convention (May sigs) quite a while ago - no pressing req'd.
