I would post what i really feel but i know that this really isnt an open forum. Im highly disappointed and feel like i should get some money back. Its been 26 weeks which is passed the 8-12 and extra 4-6 week timeline. My book hasnt even been looked at yet and the lady i spoke with said i wont get my book back until probably after christmas. I would ask for my books back but it would defeat the purpose of a witnessed signature. Now i know smh

Submitted 3 books at Grand Rapids Comic-Con 11/2/2018 $70 for one of them using 2 Day Modern, was guaranteed by the staff at the CBCS that I would have the book back in less than 2 weeks before they cracked the seal of the already signed and graded book to be signed again. I was once again told that it would be two weeks max before I held the book in my hands again. I see it is just now showing up as received and in the dreaded "Processing" black hole. The other books that were signed and witnessed could be lining the bottom of a rabbits cage for all I know. I have tried calling customer service multiple times only to waste my time leaving a voicemail on a system that no one checks obviously.

CBCS do you honor your words?
Ask your self if you think I will be a repeat customer?
I won't ever recommend you to anyone, and will actually do my best to discourage anyone from submitting anything to you.

I gave you a second chance after it took months to get my previous order back, which you claimed was due to hurricanes and your move.

All from the actual invoice:

Dropped off at con June 17th
1 two day modern, 2 consumer, 4 modern [one with a VSP], 1 quickstream
3 that need pressing and listed as quickstream, expanded, modern

Marked Received July 12th

Jumped to Labels Nov 26th for the non-pressed 8 books, the 3 in need of pressing are still listed as submitted.

At least it seems that updating is starting to get a little better.

Got an email and I was so excited. Then I saw it was just an add for cyber monday. I laughed. As if I’m going to ever use these guys again. Books still processing since 07/27/18. No updates. No refund. Nothing.

Same here. Still waiting for customer service to respond to all the damaged books/cases I received from these jokers. I make sure to tell everyone I meet not to use these guys. Worst company ever.

The none 2 day order will be slower getting into the system, so that is normal. You should get the invoice number soon. The 2 Day modern looks like it was received the week of Thanksgiving, thus the delay. Now that the holiday is over you should see movement

Mine were received on 7/27 so if this is accurate I should start to see mine move to grading in about a month. Fingers crossed!

Pre-Screen Modern stack shipped to CBCS on 6/20 - so probably received the beginning of the week of 6/25 - was changed from "Received" to "Grading" today (been tracking it closely).

Submitted 5 books July 14th to Randall Armstrong at Florida Supercon as witnessed signature books to be graded.....Still no emails about an order number to even track whats happening. Its passed the original 8-12 week range and the extra 4 to 6 week grace period. This will be the last time i use this company. I only did it for Jim Starlin signatures.I have pictures and videos of my books at the event submitting them. I just hope my books come back undamaged if they even come back at all. I feel robbed. Cant blame a move on this. You shouldnt still be accepting books if you cant grade the ones you currently have.

I dropped my books off at a con on 7/24 and they put them into the system 9/6. In all seriousness i think i wont get my books back until 7/2019 which would be a full year since they were dropped off. We should have been told that the wait for just grading would be this crazy. How can I honesty send them any books again after this? I wanted to give this company a try since cgc was overly expensive but id rather bite the bullet and pay the extra money to have cgc get me my books back on time. Multiple calls and emails with no responses as well. Ive even asked if they could ship my books back without grading and without a refund just to get them back. What can i do? NOTHING

I submitted 5 books at HeroesCon in June and just got an email that they shipped via Fedex today.

Just shy of two months late.

...the funniest part - I've since moved from the original address that I gave them 5 months ago. I changed the address on my account and thought that would fix it, but the email shows it going to the old location.

I called Fedex and, of course only the sender can change the destination address. So now I'm calling their customer service, hoping to get someone who can make the change in time.

But...at least I now know the grades on my books. Yay!

Did you get any comics pressed? Mine were received June 24th I believe and are still stuck in received state.

Thanks!

I submitted 8 books and all 8 cases are scratched, cracked, and have debris encased with the book. After 6 months that’s not cool. Customer service said they would redo them if I paid for shipping up front and they would reimburse me. No “sorry we damaged your books”, no refund, and I have to fork out more money and pay for the insurance/packing. Not to mention the amount of time I’m going to have to wait again. This company is a joke. I just want my money back for work not completed in my contract And not completed in a timely manner.

No I didn't get any pressed. I got my tracking number yesterday afternoon and showing delivery for tomorrow. I couldn't wait so I checked my dashboard to see how they graded out. I was very pleased with all but 1. My Witchblade #10 was a 9.4 but I will take it. My invoice said processing for 20+ weeks but once it updated to grading it was 3 or 4 days until I got the email saying they had shipped.

I received my order yesterday. I spoke to a rep last week that found my order. I guess they didn't have a good card number for payment and that was holding it up. It took about 26 weeks from receipt to delivery of the books. I have books I submitted in July at Supercon that I am still waiting on. The rep advised that they are currently finishing with June books and mine should be in grading in the next couple of weeks.

My order from the end of September fast pass and fast press also went into grading. I've been overall happy with my experience thus far and I really like the look of their slabs and labels.

Finally got through to customer service and the reps are very nice and understanding, all I can do is laugh at situation because what else can you do?

Anyway, I submitted my books June 4th and they are currently in "grading" and was told its about 3 weeks at this point. So I guess I'll be getting them in the new year? hopefully......
