@HeinzDad LOL!! It certainly is a wtf picture! Holly is wearing the hat with pigtails and she wasnt cooperating. it took some time to get that picture.

@flanders It doesn't look like it in that picture but Murphy is a spider.

So, I have posted some of these frames in the past, but I have done a few more.

This one is a commission from one of my sons buddies in Okinawa, Japan. He saw pictures of the ones I did for two of my other sons and wanted one made. It's not completely done, but its getting close.

This is the one I have done for my son stationed in Okinawa. He thinks he is getting Venom or Carnage, both of which would be awesome...but I went this route instead.

So let me know what you think. I would love any feedback anyone might have.

Thanks for the words. I really enjoy making these. Time consuming as heck, but I like making the displays.
I will be doing a connecting cover frame for Batman/Predator #1, the painted covers. Both came back 9.6 so it should look pretty cool.

Thought this was cool. A video that one of my local shops made a view years back. I know most of us can relate about moving comics but maybe no to this scale.

A buddy mentioned a fondness for yellow covers, so I shared several early Avengers issues that I thought he'd appreciate.
I never noticed until after I posted the group that the top edge of my #178 is one of those Bronze Marvels that didn't get all the color at the top edge above the MCG Banner.

@Siggy - I am yellow with envy over that Avenger”s cover! Not only for the great color, but I think you have a printing error too. The other covers that I have seen for that issue are yellow at the top edge too.

So I love getting these mini Batman black and whites from Walmart as I’m trying to get the mini mignola figure. Well my wife surprised me with one today and I thought something off about it. It’s missing it’s bat symbol. I wasn’t sure if it was meant to be that way so I put it next to my brothers and yep sure enough it’s missing the symbol

@esaravo You're right on the printing error....the books I've looked up all had yellow at the top....nice catch there!

I've been looking at my Bronze scans throughout the day looking for others I may have missed, but none. I've had this book for years LOL

Wish this was in better condition and I'll never know why my dad didn't take better care of this cool Trowel.

My Dad passed oh 9 yrs ago now but he went to art school at the Chouinard Institute of the Arts (Walter and Roy Disney would eventually merge this and the LA Conservatory of music into Cal Arts!) on a scholarship in the mid to late 60's. Now this school was partnered with Disney so his co-op terms were spent working at WED Enterprises (Walter E Disney!!) Apparently the students got this cool gold trowel signed by their prof and classmates as 'builders' of Disney.

It's fun to watch the Imagineering show on Disney because lots of what they are showing are things that my dad had described to me - who knows some of the scale models on the show my dad could have made!! That was one of the many things they got to do! Looking forward to watching more of the Imagineering to see what other things my dad described will show up!

Back when TV GUIDE was in it's prime I tried to save the FALL
PREVIEW issues...just ran across a box with a few of them still
in pretty good shape. Fun to look through them and see the ads
for the "NEW SHOWS".
Here's the preview review for BATTLESTAR GALACTICA from September
1978.
