I'll probably be posting this in several threads, simply because the coolness factor extends to other categories and several degrees of magnitude over other recent acquisitions to my collection and obviously because I'm overjoyed. As of yesterday, I'm the proud owner of a second George Rozen Shadow pulp cover, this is the original art from the June 1, 1942 issue...

Alas, my iPad photography doesn't do this painting justice. My next goal is to have it professionally framed to match my other original G. Rozen Shadow painting for the June 15, 1942 cover (just coincidence that these were back to back issue covers).

My spousal unit took this of her seafaring lounge lizard a few hours after leaving Cozumel, enroute to the Grand Caymans...

This has a huge coolness factor IMO, but it may not be everyone's thing. I'll just add that the cruise thus far has been awesome.

In 1956 while in the NAVY I made a request to WARNER BROS. to see
if it would be possible to have an insignia developed using the
ROAD RUNNER to then be displayed on our ship the U.S.S. BARTON DD722.
It didn't come about but we did receive back and forth communications
regarding the matter.
