Turtlemania Special #1 1986 Prototype w/ Reg, Silver, & Gold covers - VERY7434

I bought a meat grinder on amazon for $60 and it's changed my life. kaptainmyke private msg quote post Address this user
Not trying to discuss methods or whatever, Simple answer: I would not know, I do not use solvents or chemicals. It's not worth the risk to damage the book further doing a wet cleaning. But to send it to CCS is tempting.

Wow. I'm headed to dinner right now but find this an interesting nugget. Add to the fact that I'm a gambler. The yellow cover doesn't look as bad as the other two, but then again we know the color of pee!! Also the yellow cover looks like it might be the only one attached.

Completely joking about the bleaching. I'd be the last to go to for any restoration. I'd go pro all the way, probably contact some of the options we have here.

If I think about it, I'll ask Bob Burden what he knows about it. His name is in the indicia. I see him at completely random and unpredictable intervals. His friend was the one who offered to sell me one with the white cover.

The most likely chance of me seeing him next is Oct. 7th. He will usually make a brief appearance at a certain comic show in town. Even if he's not a featured guest, he usually drops off flyers or something. I've run into him at restaurants and even a computer store. He only lives maybe 10 miles from me and I pass his area on my way to work. I used to run into Georges Jeanty in the same way, but not so much anymore.

My cap was $1100 due to condition. If it were a 8.0 or better overall grade, I would have paid twice the ending price.

I took a swag at it. With 19 seconds left I was high bidder at $911. I put in one more shot but it bounced up rapidly two more times. I was probably battling a couple sniping softwares.

Dang Russians. šŸ™‰šŸ™ŠšŸ™ˆ. Sorry you missed out. You never know. I’d message the seller. If the deal falls through that you have a great track record of paying for, what you bid on. If it was someone speculating they just over paid and maybe just maybe šŸ¤žšŸ––

i think the price is just right, i was think it would not go over 3000, so i thinking it a fair price for something so rare that only about 2(prototype)are out there and the facts of ever finding another one are so low its will be like trying to hit the lotto, i think a good copy 9.8 would be about $10,000 or more for one of these.

A 9.6 gold edition is worth $3500-$4500. A crappy low grade 1.0-2.0 copy of a prototype which contains one of the 1:10 gold covers went for the same amount. Seems in the right price point.

I almost bid on it but decided against it when I saw it climb fast in the last 10 seconds with 54 watchers. Spike bidders were gonna strike.

A mint on card 2005 "Quarry" used to go for $2,000. A loose 2003 "water spitting Quarry prototype" sells for $200. Go figure.

Looked like an interesting project, wonder if there was a sketch on the back of the gold. I guess two of the ten are still floating around.
