Help me translate this German comic.7358

Collector Redshade private msg quote post Address this user
I've just received this neat book. It has three stories in it as listed below with Google Translate's attempts at converting to English.

When I try to find these stories in the GCD with a view to tracking down which original US comics these came from I draw a blank each time.

Could anyone help? The three stories are:

1. Todesengel Lois Lane ("Death Angel Lois Lane", I've tried it as shown and have also tried "Angel of Death LL" and "LL Angel of Death).

2. Das perfekte verbrechen ("The Perfect Crime", this is a Batman story).

3. Als Superman das Furtchen lernte ("When Superman Learned to Fear).

Thanks Ed. Do you have one for sale?

I've learned from this that Google Translate is perhaps not to blame here but the German editor who changed the titles.

I can check for you, Stephen. I have a few Supes from the early 1960’s, but I am not sure if that’s one of them. I know I have read that story at some time long ago.

I think sometimes it's necessary, though I'd also think "The Nightmare Ordeal of Superman" could be translated as is *shrug*

I just typed "Superman und Batman" under "Everything" and by "Date", looked at the gallery for the cover, and luckily someone did the real legwork by adding the info.

I love that site

@Redshade - Just looked through my Superman longbox. I guess my run starts earlier than I though, with #150. Here’s some scans of the comic (no, I didn’t fold the comic for the second scan). It looks to be in around VG/FN condition.

That's a nice find Ed. I wonder how much it would be to buy including shipping to the UK? PM me.

Does this means you're using the Advanced Query? I only use that for detailed searches involving people.
I search from the top of the page.

EDIT This was wrong. Instead of :Series Name", I used "Everything". Sorry about that.

@MR_SigS . No, I wasn't in the Advanced Search function just the ordinary one.

Thanks, I used the "Everything" and found the gallery. Now I want them all!!!
