I'm new to slabbing and just sent my first order out about a month ago so I'd like to get the opinion of some of the experienced people on whether any of the books on this list are good to slab. Any response is great, thanks. Uncanny X-Men 121 (First full Alpha Flight) Uncanny X-Men 129 (First Kitty Pride, Emma Frost) Uncanny X-Men 141 (Days of Future Past story) Uncanny X-Men 221 (First Mister Sinister) Black Lightning 1 (First Black Lightning) Wolverine Mini Series 1 I think that with a pressing all of these books would be at minimum a 9.0 Thanks again! |

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. | xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
I think the board has two general thoughts on slabbing: 1) it isn't worth slabbing a book worth under maybe $100 2) slab whatever you want if you like the book; it's your hobby If they were each 9.0s they wouldn't all quite hit that $100 mark according to gocollect. But as a Wolverine/X-Men fan myself, I would slab all those books. |

I say don't waste your money unless you are going to try and sell them. That's really the only up side to slabbing books IMHO. Otherwise High quality Mylars and Full Back boards. |

It's really up to you, but I would say slab high end very expensive books that are a few hundred dollar plus value. You won't read them because the more they get handled the less valuable they become. You accidently tear a page you just lost money value-wise. I agree with the above poster.
