Everybody please be on lookout for this Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 5.0. It was stolen from Leroy's wall display at his booth at Wizard World Chicago on Sunday Aug 26th sometime between 11:10 and 11:30 am. Police report has been filed. It's likely the comic will be cracked out and sold that way but it has distinguishing marks. He has insurance but sure would like to get the book back and catch whoever stole it. The convention security cameras pointed his direction were obstructed by another booths display.![]() |

According to Leroy it's very nice for 5.0 grade. Has a readers crease at spine, smudge at right edge, no Marvel chipping at all. If the book is cracked out it has white pages as well as white interior cover margins.

sorry to hear that. but the fact is, it now lost and like you said, the comic will be cracked out and sold, good thing he had insurance. it sad when things are stolen from someone, i also hope the catch him but with no security cameras or pic of who stole it, it will be hard.

The convention center let their security cameras be obstructed by a booth display?! I can't believe a security director (or whatever the title is) could or would be so oblivious. That's truly nuts. I hope they find whomever stole the book, and that it is returned to its rightful owner. Afterwards, I trust Chicago Police Department practices "Catch & Release". Catch the thief, hold him all day, then release him at night with no cell phone somewhere in the corridor between Auburn Gresham & Riverdale; at which point Frank Castle (Thomas Jane) said it best: "In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy it is necessary to act outside the law. To pursue... natural justice. This is not vengeance. Revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response. No, not vengeance. Punishment." |
