@Phahn20 www.mycomicshop.com & www.reececomics.com are pretty good. Reece's grading is usually spot on for raw. mycomicshop usually grades low which is a plus for buyers. Every raw I have purchased then got graded from mycomicshop always came back graded higher than the raw grade I purchased at. Sometimes you can really make out on their auctions that way. |

Reece's is way overpriced. They have a Detective Comics #80 CGC 9.0 for $5500. Overstreet has it at $2757.

I'll put in a strong second for mycomicshop.com. They really have an extensive inventory, great service and pretty good pricing. I use their monthly Previews subscription service and anything else I buy just gets shipped with my regular subscription books. Huge savings on shipping.

I disagree. When there are no current sales to reflect on, OPG still gives you a decent price to go by IMO.

It does but seems like it's hard to find slabbed books at OS prices

The book specifically I was referring to was the Detective Comics #80 CGC 9.0 from Reese comics. On gocollect.com the last time it sold was 2 years ago and there was no accurate value to compare to. Circumstances like this are where OPG come in handy.

I know what book you were referring too. Just was saying in general. Also agreed with most of what you said.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. | drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
