Cracking Slabs for my Frank Miller Daredevil Run7182

I'm a #2. BigRedOne1944 private msg quote post Address this user
I have been working on my Frank Miller Daredevil Run (#158 - #191)

Im looking to complete with Higher grade Books with centered covers.

I really prefer High Grade Raw books.

Today I cracked out this CGC 9.4 for my set.

I absolutely hate the big bulky CGC slabs. After Cracking out the book and accessing it I concurred that the grading was accurate. Beautiful book with two tiny Spine tics.

The book displayed with my "Cyber Slab"

It now resides in a E.Gerber Mylite2 with Full back filed with the rest of my Daredevil issues in my comic book cabinet.

I dig it. I like slabs but I also like the looks of a high grade raw. I'm a Daredevil guy so I like it!

Thanks for the kind words!

I didn't notice at the time of purchase, but the Daredevil book was in one of those shitty CGC cases that have the book sandwiched between the two slabs with no inner tray. Good thing I got it cracked out and back in the wild where it belongs.

I noticed I don't have a Daredevil displayed on any of my Cabinet drawers. I will have to decide which issue will look the best and sacrifice one of my current Drawer displays.

Take Care Guys!
John

I really like how you do the scan with your cyber label. It looks good. I think your comic drawer is phenomenal too.

Yes that is correct Tim. There are also cases where I disagreed with CGC/CBCS grades, in which I also note their grade and mine.

Thanks Dudley

It took me awhile to design the right size and style. I experimented with multiple styles and color schemes, before finally settling with a simple design.

The Cabinet was another labor of love (and necessity) While it is fully functional, it is still kind of a work in progress.
