Secret Wars #10 in a 9.8. My favorite Dr Doom cover ever. I've since sold the book, but have a few more both raw and slabbed. No pic, sadly.

My first CBCS graded books.Sub them in at Emerald city con
sub-mariner 16 3.0 offwhite/white. nicest looking 3.0
And JLA 1. graded slight 2.0 offwhite
both books look good in their cases. And grades and detected color touch on JLA are all spot on.

That Sub-Mariner #16 looks great! More like a 6.0+ than a 3.0. Were you satisfied with the grader's notes for it?

I can honestly say that I have never seen that before! It does look better than my copy of Adventure Comics that was chewed by my dog a long, long, time ago.

I dont mind the defects on back cover. you look at the front.
also pq is sweet as
maybe there was revenge played out on by the original owners spouse during a difficult divorce. makes for an affordable war propaganda Timely for me.

I think I sent 9 or 10 down for my first submission last year. My first red label, and I like the 1:100 incentive covers. I haven't been disappointed by CBCS yet.

I submitted all these together so I guess that makes them my first submission (not just to CBCS, but my first grading ever)

My first CBCS slab is probably my favorite book in my collection (and that's saying something). It's a 9.8 Saga #1

I did my first 5 books to CBCS. It was rough to decide which ones i would send out. They were Booster Gold #1 @ 9.6, Suicide Squad #1 (1987) version@ 9.6, Savage She Hulk #1 @9.6, x-men 121 first full Alpha Flight @ 9.4 and Amazing SM. #298 @ 9.4. I was dissapointed with the ASM 298. I will have to request the grader notes from CBCS with an email. I was not able to get them from the sight. These were all pressed too.

These 2 Iron Man Classics! Happy to get my #1 back as a 9.4! I don't keep anything below a 9.0 so I'm glad my #55 made it!
