Mine was SpiderGwyen #1. Submitted at Heroes. Never really got into slabbing; but now that I have, I'm anxious to send more. Have about 60 I want to send.

But I'm gonna take it nice and slow!

My first submissions! I think they look great and I learned quite a bit about grading. I've already submitted 2nd & 3rd submissions.

My first submission (SDCC) is being process now. The anticipation is horrible. Is it like getting your first fix? HAHAHAHA. I keep looking at my dashboard each day knowing that it'll be weeks before anything gets done. Oh the excitement for the return of the first submissions.

I just received my first submission in the mail today. I didn't expect them all to be 9.8's.

TWD #150 Tony Moore Variant. I thought this was an easy 9.8, i was actually hoping for a 9.9. lol

TWD #150 Tony Moore Variant signed by Tony Moore.

Deadpool #1 signed by Tony Moore.

I will definitely be submitting more books in the future, I already have a stack that is already moore than 30 books (mostly TWD).

Well for better or worse my first submission is back. I'm not even going to comment on the labels other than to say some of these will definitely be getting a re-holdering down the road.
More specifically the older stuff, Its not too bad on some of the moderns.

What I did like was graders notes. Very detailed, all of the stuff I would expect to see. No surprises. I consider myself a fairly conservative grader and was very happy to see most of my personal grades matched up with CBCS.

Will update with some pics shortly

Those are the big ones if you want to see any others let me know. Looking forward to my next submission I think Ill have to wait for the new label. More importantly when are we going to see magazine size slabs Ive got a pile of them to get slabbed.

All very nice books, cases look great, technology/methods appear to be top notch as well. I just need to take the plunge into the "CBCS pool" and send some in.

Here's the first 2 books I submitted to CBCS last year. Picked up both at the Gem City Con in Dayton Ohio.
The ASM #23 is probably one of my all time favorite Spidey covers. This one really caught my eye with how bright and clean the cover is. Bone white with no hint of browning or foxing. Plus it has perfect wrap and centering. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it.
The Aquaman #35 really jumped out at me too. It has sentimental value to me as a copy of #35 was the 2nd Aquaman book I purchased off the rack new back in 1967. Of course my original copy is long gone and this the first time I have owned another copy in probably 46 years. Not only that, the value of this book has gone off the rails recently.
Enjoy.

My first submissions were: Batman Adventures #12 - graded at 9.2 & Forever People #1 - graded at 9.0. Have upgraded the BA 12 since then and sold the Forever People.

My first submission that showed up on dashboard. It wasn't too bad. Started collecting the 90's then stopped for many years and just recently got back into collection books again. Learning a lot about grading and this first batch of books gives me a better idea what to look for in future submissions.

Thank you CBCS.

I no longer have it, but it was a Batman #608 Jim Lee 1:100 variant. Graded out at a 9.8 which made me sell it. I made about $500 profit on that book.
