I want to send in my David Mack variant for Superman 1 to be my first graded comic, but I noticed some wear on the spine. What kind of affect will this have one the grade? From what I understand modern comics shouldn't be sent in if they'd get a grade lower than 9.4. Pics: clickable text |

I can see that book getting a 9.6, a pressing would get rid of those 2 dings Easily. It's not a 9.8 though | ||

Spine wear like that (feathering) is from production. CGC gives it a complete pass (even though there are books without it, which makes no sense). CBCS seems to take it into consideration on a case by case basis | ||
