@Darkga You'll have to wait on VSP until CBCS grades magazines. @ccmp99 Seems only yesterday I was young lad of 12 years "marveling" at that page and hanging on every word and narrative of what is arguably the best Spider-Man story ever. Sad day. The old masters are nearly all gone. |

R.I.P. Mr. Ditko Back in the 60's you were very instrumental in my migration from coins to comics. |

Steve Ditko can not be given enough credit for his part in shaping the Marvel Universe and comics as we know them. He was truly one of the great ones.

It's a shame he was so reclusive and so averse to talking about his time at Marvel. There were so many who wrote to him over the past couple of years and his responses, as abrupt and abrasive as they may have been, were full of insights and nuggets of wisdom that are absolutely fascinating. I hope in the next year or 2 we get a documentary about him. In fact, I've spoke with the gentleman who did the "Batman and Bill" documentary. Maybe I'll put that idea in his ear... |

As a kid, after discovering spiderman and dr. strange, I was happy that marvel had reprint titles such as marvel tales. I read every early story of either i could get my hands on and instantly fell in love with ditko's art. But it was his take on dr. strange that blew my mind. wow! thank you sir for you art. vaya con dios.

It'd be nice if the forum moderator could combine the other two, shorter Steve Ditko rememberance threads into this one. Not sure how feasible that is at this point, but it would be great having all of the thoughtful posts easily viewed via scrolling in a single thread. Just my 2 cents.

@Odins_Raven I have seen that it is great (although not long enough if you ask me lol and I wish he went in the office with the camera at the end)
