So. I posted this on my comic art fans gallery. The guy who sold it to me just offered to buy it back at double the selling price. I politely declined as I have been looking for a Mephisto piece for a very long time. Funny thing though, I got an email from a guy who sold me a jim lee batman sketch wanting to buy back that piece too....

Apparently lotsa folks go to comic art fans....

I purchased some of my favorite art there, and happily support them by signing on as a premium member. That site is awesome, and deserves it.

Grabbed these from @soul_twice on Instagram. Thought it was a fun style of these classic characters! Check em out.

Had no idea CGC did sealed art sketches. It is a thick plastic like lamination. Not nearly as thick as a comic slab. It is still pliable.

Yuko Shimizu is one of my favorite illustrators.

She did a ton of covers for The Unwritten, a few for Detective Comics, and this Ghost Variant of Sex Criminals #1.

I've had some offers from the posts I've put on here. I have a small few that I just won't give up and those happened to be the ones that I got the offers on. Had to politely decline as well.

I recently acquired the original art to Creepy #12 (March 1980, Spanish edition) painted by the incomparable Enric Torres. Although I have two other Enric paintings which are commissions, this is my first time owning a published piece of his work. The debate now though is whether or not this is a depiction of Vampirella. I am going to go with yes!

Correct - it is Tara Tam. However, she was first introduced in the previous vol. This issue is the first appearance of gwenpool

I posted some of my original work on a separate thread here but since I'm here I thought I'd show everyone here some of my more recent work.

Not many. This will be my third. They take a while to complete (especially during a pandemic). I've got lots of ideas but have only produced three of them so far.

I'm hoping to do my first jam piece once SDCC opens up again. I already got the first one started. It's a re-creation of the cover of Infinity Gauntlet #1. Perez placed his part a little too high which might make things a little difficult

Maybe after that I'll do a recreation of Infinity Crusade #1

@dielinfinite that Infinity Crusade cover is perfect for a jam/cover recreation. Great choice.

@AndyRexia Thanks! Lim and Rubinstein are regulars at SDCC so I'm hoping to get them to do Thanos and Mephisto and work my way through artist's alley for the rest

I just got this one. Contacted the artist (Esteban Salinas) through IG because of all the horror related covers that he's been doing during the shutdown. We hashed out the details and this is what I got. It's painted and varnished.
I plan on getting him to do a couple more for me.

Very nice. Who is the artist? Could not make it out.

@BrianGreensnips it looks like Mike Hoffman's work to me. @KatKomics will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 99% sure this is his art. I follow him on Facebook and absolutely love some of his work. I believe you can buy a commission from him on eBay.
