Oh I was not lucky enough to get on the commission list. This is a commission he did for someone else, but it PERFECTLY captures what I would have wanted, so I was happy to buy it.

I usually rotate them out between the wall and storage. Archival materials are used in either situation.

Wall - This would be framed with acid-free mats and UV acrylic glazing

Storage - Stored in an Itoya art binder with acid-free sheets. Something like this would be in a Mylar, before being slid into the sheet as well.


So cool! Killer piece!!! I'm a big Bruce Timm fan but must admit almost solely because of Batman TAS. I don't know much else of what he's done but that Vampirella piece is stunning!!

Just got this WIP from from an artist I’ve commissioned a few times in the past! This is one where I got pretty specific with the composition instead of just giving the artist some general instruction.

This will feature Death, Mephisto, Mar-Vell, and Lady Marvel from Alex Ross’ Earth X series in an Renaissance-type composition

Two sketches by George Perez that he did for me at a comic convention in Corpus Christi, Texas back in 1979. I think he was only charging about five bucks a piece.

Just got this monster 22" x 29" Niko Henrichon original watercolor framed up. Felix Lu calls this wall power.

Even the frame shop people were nuts for it.
