George sketched it a bit high up on the book so Thanos, Death, and Mephisto will probably have to be drawn over the logo

That's going to be awesome.

As well as the comic book "legends", I like to commission "amateur" artists for my Hulk vs The Thing collection if I think their style would add a unique take on the theme. This one is from Gene Espy.

A couple purchased from Tim Vigil- Thanos and a commission I ran past him shortly after SDCC '19 when I purchased 2 pages of his "Vampire Batman" parody character. WELL worth the wait! I might have someone color it [digitally] like the meme.

May not be up to par with Jim Lee’s level in quality but when you realize who is doing it, then it is worth its weight in gold. Just like my Batman sketch by Len Wein.

This is a commission from Joe from a bunch of years ago; but decided to post anyway.
If I think of Websters Dictionary definition for the nicest, kindest, hard working man it would be Joe Sinnott. We all have fictional superheroes we love; but this man was a real life hero and someone to model onseself after.
Certainly a dichotomy that he could draw this most evil of Marvel characters so incredibly well.

Awesome!!!! I hope this ok to ask, but I've always wondered what a commission cost from a top tier artist like Joe Sinnot was. It's got to cost a mint!

I am curious as to how people price OA pages. Suggestions?

This may not help, but when I was collecting OA, I would look around to get a general idea of what that person's work was going for just to make sure I couldn't get something similar for a better price. Ultimately, I paid exactly what I was willing to pay.
Granted it has been years since I bought anything, but the most I ever paid was $425. That was for a page from an early Michael Turner Witchblade issue that I got from him personally. It would go for significantly more now, though.

Yes, sir. Framed and hanging in my bedroom. I'll post a picture and a story behind it before too long.

yeah but the price of an artist (if still alive) is just one small part. other considerations are the importance of the comic and pages within the comic just to name a few

Absolutely. What characters are on the page? How prominent are they drawn? Is it a splash page? A title page? So many factors.

I found 23 pages by Rich Buckler at an avg of $55 per page. They were from his Cross Gen work. IMO this was some of his best looking work. If it had been The Avengers or The FF, they'd have been MUCH more, despite the quality.
Many factors.

Wolverine - Joe Rubinstein He asked if I wanted with or without the mask. He said he would do a lot more detail if it was without. Decided to go without. This was one of those times when I came back to the table to pick it up and was blown away.
