| So I went to Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC yesterday and today. It was a lot of fun. I had never been to Heroes and I've always heard it's the place to be if you're into art. It was awesome seeing the "Artist Alley". You couldn't call it an alley. It took up half the floor space in there. Anyway, here's what I was able to pick up. Mike Henderson 9x12 Daredevil. Mike has a current 5 issue run of Daredevil he just completed drawing and the first book has been released. Good stuff.  Bob McLeod Silver Surfer. Great guy and we discussed him working on my X-men jam piece next month. Can't wait!  Last but not least, Jerry Ordway Captain Marvel. Super talkative guy. Talk about getting your moneys worth. He talked to Everyone and drew some incredible sketches. He was the best bang for your buck at the con. If you ever get a chance to meet him at a con and get on his sketch list, I highly advise you to do so.  |
