And how can this happen? Unless the same company was binding the two comics...and someone was just bored that day and decided to create a "Frankenstein" comic...?

"Hey Bob! Watch this!!! I'm gonna merge this cover from DC with this interior from Marvel! Then ship it out with the rest!"

How can there be a Trigon appearance if it's a Marvel Two-in-One #74 interior?

That's what I was thinking...but CGC should have done their research on this before calling it an "manufacturing error."

The description goes on and on and on...almost too much...like really trying too hard to make a case for it being of any value...

Maybe someone might want it...but good luck finding that person.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
I think we have identified the seller:

The green label makes sense I suppose. But I would think noting it’s an error book on a blue label would be enough.

Lol his description is pretty laughable trying to compare the comic to legit valuable rare items

There's a thread about this book on the CGC Forums, FWIW.

The seller did a very good job of pitching the book in his listing.

My guess is that he put a ridiculous BIN on it, in the hopes of his sales pitch reeling in a sucker.

Said sucker would be taken by the pitch, and would than think of sending the seller an offer of 10 grand, or 29 grand, and the seller would dance with him a bit, than sell the book for 10 grand.Or 5, or 20.

Depends how green the buyer would be, and how loaded his pockets are.

That is my take, on what the seller is thinking, between his Glengary Glen Ross sales pitch and the 1,250,000.00 BIN/BO sticker.

I have no idea what the BOOK is "worth", I could see a few hundred bucks.

The seller is, uh, how to put this nicely?

A moron. . .

I couldn't get through his treatise on comic book values and history and blah blah yada yada snore.

Once he started with it has value because it's rarer than Action 1 and actually calculating the rarity and it's affect on value related to other books . . . sorry son, that isn't how value works. Go get an MBA in business. Better yet, just talk to any successful business person and get a clue about value.

It has value cuz others want it.

Ok, I'm out before I start writing a snooze-fest manifesto myself!

I've actually seen several copies of New Teen Titans #6 that had this problem.

No no no! There are only 2 known copies!!! Didn't you read the description?!?

If there are more of them the value would be. . . uh, like $20 . . .

I guess the same way a copy of Action #1 with the first 8 pages torn out will still say "1st appearance of Superman and Lois Lane".

They did the same thing with Back to the Future. He thought he was grabbing The Sports Almanac, but he was grabbing a The Sports Almanac with Ooh La La on the inside.

I have a Robocop issue with an inside out cover. It’s got to be worth a million, right? I think it’s a one of a kind.

I'm not saying that this isn't a manufacturing error but for a skilled book restoration expert, this would be so easy to forge.

It was. The only thing halfway challenging was dreaming it up. Look closely at the staples. They've been removed and replaced, and none too adroitly.
