Well, the last of my Harley Quinn variants arrived today. The color/b&w issue from AOD, and it was very secure.

No one's posted it but here's Baltimore Comic Con Jim Lee exclusive @Resurrection mentioned Like Resurrection, I don't really like it; not a big fan of the look Jim Lee chose, plus I'm kinda burned out |

@dielinfinite is it just me or does Harley look like she enlisted in the Russian army?

I've been on the fence about getting one since they all seem damaged.

@Revelations Pretty much. She reminds me of this character from a little-remembered game, though she happens to be a former German Stasi agent |

I don't like it. But I have a low grade copy anyways, someone will want it.

@JLS_Comics I'm sure that's what he was going for. Jim Lee's pretty much at the point that he can put his idea directly on the page, but in this case, it doesn't necessarily mean the idea is a good one

Well, I got my Harley Quinn #1 from Mexico today. I wondered why they we selling a Cosmopolitan with it. I get that they are both Suicide Squad related, but just odd to pair the two. Then I got my purchase, and it is all so clear now as to why. HAHA |

@VaComicsGuy We were discussing. The copies average 9.2/9.4. There are no 9.8s left, ask how I know lol

Ok, here is how the book was sold in Mexico, and how I got it. I wanted to get it graded, but not to sell. More so to go on display with some of my Harley stuff. Now after opening the bag, the book has some spine issues. The pictures below are of the top, middle, and bottom of the spine. At the bottom of the first picture, and the top of the second, the same tick has been marked. The back looks great, as does the rest of the book. Do you think with this spine issues, this book would still pull a 9.2? I really do not want to have to low of a grade, even though it is not going to be sold. All of my other books are 9.0 or better. Well, except for a 1975 Superman. |

Submit it with a prescreen grade set so you won't be disappointed if it grades lower.

@VaComicsGuy Why pay $950 when you can pay $2500?

@Mathyus_42 I believe you get charged a rejection fee that's significantly less than the grading fee (I heard $4 but haven't confirmed it for myself). EDIT: Sorry, nevermind, I was thinking of Verified Signatures |

Quote:Originally Posted by VaComicsGuy I was watching another 9.8 just to see how much it would go for and it did end up just above 960. So 950 plus shipping would likely be average... For now. No idea what will happen in the future. I don't see it going down tho. |

My memory wants to say the prescreen charge is $5.00, I'm sure it's on the website somewhere.

Quote:Originally Posted by DarthLego I looked in the FAQ section, and this is what it says. "If your book is determined by CBCS to be below the grade you have selected, your book will be returned in its raw state and you may or may not be charged a nominal “reject fee”. If your book meets the minimum grade, it will be certified and placed into a CBCS case with no additional fees." So, if it is 4 or 5 bucks, I will be ok with that. |
