I'm just curious. What about those of us that have dropped books off in St Pete, and are expecting to pick them up in the next month or so? Will you complete grading the dropoff/pickups there? Or will they be shipped to us?

Packages that arrive at the office before we move will be opened here and moved to Dallas when we go. I assume that's what you're asking. |

@SteveRicketts What about books that were submitted in person at Comicpalooza (Houston)? I had two separate orders; one for you in the pressing department (that appears to have arrived) & another that hasn't hit the system yet. Please tell me the other order didn't get lost in transit; so many books in there...

It's not lost. Orders are put into the system based on priority and tiers because the turnaround starts when the order is submitted. They'll go through and pull all the 1-Day, 2-Day, Rapid, and Quickstream orders and put them into production. Then they pull all the pressing orders and put them in. Your regular books will be entered as soon as they get back around to them. I'm not sure what day they're going to stop entering submissions and start transferring orders to Dallas, but I'd think it will be in the next week or so. So, if your regular order doesn't get in before the move, it may be a few weeks after they get everything unpacked in Dallas. Your turnaround still started when you submitted, though. |

@SteveRicketts Much appreciated sir; I was getting worried. Hopefully the Venom: Lethal Protector Gold & Platinum are easier on the pressing crew than the Aliens mini's.

Unless you carried them around rolled up in your back pocket, they probably will be.

@SteveRicketts Rolled up in action figure packaging, on card, for twenty-five years. It’s a freakin’ miracle you were able to get them to where they came out (mostly) in the 9’s. Anyhow, about the Venom’s. I just got an e-mail saying they went to grading. I had pressing/cleaning on my submission form; did something occur where they managed to bypass your department? |

They were not bypassed. They were pressed and put through for grading.

Hey guys..I know "busy" is an understatement for you right now...but...is anyone answering the phones? Been trying since Monday and the mail box is full... Just checking on an order I was told on the 25th, would ship by the 1st (it's still listed as grading). Just want to see if it'll get out before the move or if it was shipped and just not updated. just figured I'd ask if I should continue calling or wait Thnx |

I know I asked this the other day, but I had dropped of a few books back in March. My 12 weeks is the 16th of this month and the books still show grading. Is there any update if I will be able to pick them up in St Pete? Or will they be shipped from Texas and my card billed ? Sorry to ask the same question again, I just haven't been able to reach anyone at customer service. I am sure they are swamped right now with calls and emails. Thanks for any info.

Will the Dallas location be accepting in-person submissions/drop-offs? Going to be visiting family over the summer; might as well save a couple bucks on shipping by bringing the books up with me.

Normally when new folks show up on a message board the standard acronym is WTTB, but this situation is reversed. Since CBCS is now moving into the D/FW Metroplex, I'm issuing a hearty WTTM to the crew!

I posted about this in the turnaround thread also, but I have 2 orders that show "shipping", and now have for a few days. In the past when an order reached this stage it stated "shipping" then "shipped" within 24hours followed by the update on dashboard of grader's notes. I know everything is behind and the logistics must be nightmarish BUT I'm not even getting responses to email. Has anyone else been experiencing this and can let me know their experiences. One order was actually ahead of schedule- 2 day, fast press However the other was "modern" with a fast pass- 6 week TAT- and now we are into week 8+ Will things get back to normal this week? |

Not sure @Enelson but I have an 2 day modern order that was done with grading last Tues/Weds when it went into Billing. There was an error on my card (bad expiration date) but I didn't find this out until Thurs. I immediately resolved the issue and notified the rep via email yet thursday. I'm still awaiting ANY indication my repeated emails/or phone messages (to both the rep and customer service) have even been received. I assume not since no payment has processed and my books are still waiting to ship out despite the updated CC information on file since last week. I certainly hope this is just due to the move and won't be an issue in the future, but I'm not holding my breath to receive those 2 day books within 2 weeks at this point. :/ |

The office is currently in the process of being moved. I mean literally. They're loading everything onto trucks as I type this. Likewise, the crew is mid transit. Moving their families halfway across the country. I know they're hoping it to happen as quickly as possible, but in all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a blackout until next week. They tried to prepare as well as possible, but unexpected things will happen. They are relocating an entire office, as well as everyone's family. We will be be operational again as quickly as possible |
