Post a book that was printed with either a direct or whitman counterpart: IE, a real “newsstand edition” (well yours were newsstands technically, but see other thread discussed ad nauseum; you two are smart guys and know what I mean here ), otherwise anything goes! |

| For the sake of those interested, all "Whitman" comics are Direct editions (but not all Direct editions are Whitmans.) Whitman was Western Publishing's Direct market imprint; Gold Key was their newsstand imprint. Western completely abandoned the newsstand distribution system round about 1980, one of the first comic companies to do so. So if you see "Whitman"...on any comic...it's a Direct market comic. |
