I get a little depressed seeing the early episodes because the news anchorwoman on the first half of the season died in real life before the season aired. She'd been a local news anchor on Atlanta television for over a decade. |

Oh goodie! Charmed is back. Fierce, funny, feminist reboot of the original series and, similar to the original series, focuses on three sisters in college who discover they are witches. |

'Pennyworth,' a 10-episode, straight-to-series order, will be an origin story about Batman's best friend and butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Here is the story... clickable text |

Quote:Originally Posted by Redshade That's fair enough. You can't watch a US show these days without seeing a person speaking with a British accent. There are studies that find that a British accent sounds more intelligent to Americans. The problem is that too many shows are featuring British actors and it is disproportionate to the number of British people actually in the US. Imagine if you turned on the TV and every show had a Jamaican person. You might get tired of it. I like shows like Death in Paradise, but if I turn on Agents of SHIELD, I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why an American Intelligence organization is hiring more people from outside the US. I'm also perplexed why shows like Father Brown don't feature young people. Everyone seems to be over 60. I too am tired of all the CW superhero shows feature some gay romantic crisis. I prefer a logical balance, not a skewed agenda. |

My born and raised in Cincinnati, hillbilly wife can not understand British actors on TV. Unless they change their voices like the guy who plays Rick in The Walking Dead. I have to translate for her often. Ha Ha |

*YAWN* Jon Favreau to direct an upcoming live-action Star Wars TV show. It's set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Specifically, it’ll be set three years after Return of the Jedi’s Battle of Endor. Due to be launched on Disney's new streaming channel in the fall of 2019. |

I know the writing is bad, so I'm confident that all his problems at the end of this season will be resolved by the second episode next season. In all honesty, Green Arrow is as bad or worse than the villains. He deserved his fate. |

Any word on Cloak & Dagger? I've seen a couple of promos, then nothing. I'm hoping it presents well w/ good writing; Cloak & Dagger are two of my favorite, IMHO under-utilized, heroes. | ||

That bites! Days after renewing iZombie for Season 5, The CW has belatedly announced it will also be the last in the show’s run. With the announcement coming after renewal, the show has therefore been canceled with no Season 6. |
