24 sales of Week 11 of the 52 series today alone, including one of mine. Yay!

Didn't realize this was becoming a show! I have all 52 weeks!! - should see if my LCS has extras?

Doubt they'll have weeks 11 or 7. They heated up when the cross over was announced. Other issues I'm not sure have much value over cover.

Thanks for the reminder!! I caught the first episode tonight. It could be pretty good. I LOVE the fact that Neal McDonough appears to have an active role in it. It kind of has that "X-Files" feel to it, which I love!!! And by that, I mean the early X-File episodes, not the last few seasons.

Really liked it. The house, its interior, and the toys. Fun! That was a fast hour. Looking forward to the next episode.

First off - in The Orville, I hope that Alara is not done on the show. She was one of the characters that I really enjoyed!!!

Second, I'm cancelling Netflix. I just don't watch it enough. The movies (other than the Marvel ones) all tend to be ones that I could care less about. And the original series are ok, but I'm not really a binge watcher.

As a result of cancelling Netflix, I searched Tivo today for free streaming services and I can get Tubi TV. I'm watching my first movie now: 13 Nights of Elvira: Demonic Toys. Of course, I LOVE the fact that they have all 13 Elvira movies to watch!!!! There is an ad about every 20 to 30 minutes, but I'm cool with that. It is only one ad at a time for less than a minute. I can also get YouTube on Tivo, so there is always that also.

I'm still watching The Orville. Not too impressed with this season so far. I kind of wish they would reimagine it a bit. Lean more toward sci-fi adventure with a little comedy rather than the stupid kind of funny crap they're attempting. Seth Mcfarlane is a brilliant and talented guy. I think he could do it if he wanted to.

I can't get into Curse of Oak Island. I've tried..I watched a few episodes. Correct me if I'm wrong but i think theres been multiple seasons and they've never found what they're looking for. Persistent they are but at some point maybe what they're looking for isnt there.

Love watching Curse of Oak Island. If I had to be critical about it, the only thing I don't like is the continuous little history lessons they insert in every episode. Very redundant.

Seth McFarlane doesn't make me laugh with any of his shows. I have never laughed at one scene in Family Guy. The scenes that were interesting to me were direct rip-offs of Simpsons or something Matt Stone & Trey Parker did. I didn't laugh at those scenes because they'd already been done better by someone else. The only time Seth McFarlane made me laugh was when he was being interviewed on a talk show. I couldn't watch Southpark because when I was drawing and writing my cartoon, I'd tell people about something in it and people would day "I saw that on Southpark last night." My sense of humor is pretty much in line with theirs to an unusual degree. Team America is in my opinion, the funniest movie ever made. Mike Judge is in my opinion a comedic genius. I got to meet him and he's the only celebrity that I was ever really proud to meet.

I researched a little about Oak Island. I don't believe there is any treasure there. I think it was just a mine for the minerals to make cement. That would have been a valuable commodity in those days.

Star Trek: Discovery Spinoff Officially Set At CBS All Access, Michelle Yeoh To Star

JANUARY 14, 2019

Star Trek: Discovery
CBS ALL ACCESS GOES BLACK OPS WITH MICHELLE YEOH FOR NEW “STAR TREK” SERIES BASED ON SECTION 31

Jan. 14, 2018 – CBS All Access today announced plans to further expand the “Star Trek” universe with a new live-action series in development starring Michelle Yeoh. The series will expand on Yeoh’s current role as a member of Starfleet’s Section 31 division, a shadow organization within the Federation, on STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, which debuts its second season Thursday, Jan. 17 exclusively on CBS All Access in the U.S., and is distributed concurrently by CBS Studios International on Netflix in 188 countries and in Canada on Bell Media’s Space channel and OTT service CraveTV.

The series will be produced by CBS Television Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth will serve as executive producers. Aaron Baiers will serve as co-executive producer along with Bo Yeon Kim, and Erika Lippoldt will also write the series.

“Michelle has shattered ceilings, broken boundaries, and astonished us with her grace and gravitas for decades. As a human, I adore her. As an actor, I revere her,” said Alex Kurtzman. “Erika and Boey are remarkable, exciting writers who bring a fresh perspective to the world of ‘Star Trek,’ and we’re all thrilled to explore the next wild chapter in the life of Captain Philippa Georgiou.”

“I’m so excited to continue telling these rich ‘Star Trek’ stories,” said Michelle Yeoh. “Being a part of this universe and this character specifically has been such a joy for me to play. I can’t wait to see where it all goes – certainly I believe it will go ‘where no WOMAN has ever gone before!’”

Michelle Yeoh is recognized as one of the greatest and the most successful actresses from the east. She can most recently be seen starring in John M. Chu’s romantic comedy “Crazy Rich Asians,” and in CBS’ STAR TREK: DISCOVERY. The former Bond girl is best known for her roles in Ang Lee’s “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and its sequel, Rob Marshall’s “Memoirs of a Geisha,” Roger Spottiswoode’s “Tomorrow Never Dies” and Danny Boyle’s “Sunshine.” Michelle also starred in Luc Besson’s critically acclaimed “The Lady” and voiced a role in the DreamWorks animated hit “Kung Fu Panda 2.”

The development of this new untitled series is the latest expansion of the “Star Trek” franchise. In addition to the hit original series STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, returning with season two on Thursday, Jan. 17, and STAR TREK: SHORT TREKS, a series of short stories tied to STAR TREK: DISCOVERY and the overall “Star Trek” universe, CBS has announced a new untitled “Star Trek” series featuring Sir Patrick Stewart, reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, as well as its first animated series, STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS, developed by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (“Rick and Morty”). I agree. Happy season 2 looks great!! I also really enjoyed the second episode of Project Bluebook. I'm thinking that the series could be the next X-Files. Also, Deadly Class "premiered" on Syfy - even though they aired the first episode a couple weeks ago. Of course, I had to watch it again. I'm really getting into this one!!! One of my favorite scenes is the argument over the X-Men comics!!!

They are including EVERYTHING from the comic. I will just leave it at that.

'The Walking Dead': Maggie Spinoff in Development
clickable text

Among the many ideas being talked about for The Walking Dead's expanding universe is a Maggie-centric spinoff series.

Lauren Cohan exited The Walking Dead in Season Nine, making her final appearance at the same time as Rick Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln. The door was left open for Cohan to reprise her role as Maggie in the future but the actress is now admitting to the possibility of that return coming in her own series.

"There may have been some conversations but everything is so early days ambiguous," Cohan told THR. "Me, as much as anybody, we'll have to see what happens." Though a Cohan-lead spinoff seems to have been discussed behind-the-scenes and could technically be described as "in development," fans should not be anticipating the The Walking Dead's Maggie show just yet.

It's all a much different tune than the one which The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang sang while talking to ComicBook.com. With the show being renewed for Season 10 earlier this week, Kang's plans from last year to have Cohan return as Maggie seemed to be coming to fruition.

"I'm already working on Season 10 stuff," Kang told ComicBook.com in November of 2018. "Yeah, trying to get a little bit of a jump on it, so after I do this round of press calls today I'm actually gonna jump back in with a couple of my senior writers and we're gonna talk about some stuff, just because it's like we want to get a head start on things. But it's sort of like the process doesn't end on our side of it, because it takes about a year and a half to make a season of the show, but we always air about the same time every year, so there's always about like a half a year overlap."

While rumors have long swirled in regards to Cohan's contract negotiations with The Walking Dead and AMC as a network, the actress does not seem to be holding any grudges having graduated (if only temporarily) to her new Whiskey Cavalier series. "I don't even think that it was bad," Cohan said. "It was like, I've done the show for a long time. It was a long time to be in any character and sometimes you just get quiet and listen to your inner-guidance and it's time to multitask."

Cohan also won't reveal any definitive answers as to whether or not she will be returning to The Walking Dead. "We'll see what happens," Cohan said.

The Walking Dead TV series returns for the back half of its ninth season on February 10, 2019 at 9 pm ET. Fear the Walking Dead will return for its fifth season in 2019.
