Probably Antman. I've always liked the character and felt that he was underutilized in the comics.

Of the current crop, Captain America: Winter Soldier.

I still love the ‘89 Batman movie.

Of the Superman films I'd say Superman 2 the Richard Donner cut, not a real fan of most of the batman franchise. Marvel has pretty much been hitting it out of the park, me and my son both like the Guardians movies and the Thor Ragnarok film.

DC just doesn't do it for me and I won't let my son see the new ones.

Did finally see Suicide Squad...not as bad as I thought it would be...just seems like the didn't know what film they were making and instead of choosing 1 path they mushed 3 or 4 together in a way that didn't work...

If we are talking theatrical release, definitely the Reeves' Superman. If anything is on the table, the Dinner cut of Superman II.

Not sure which you saw but the director's cut left in a couple of scenes that helped the plot advancement.

Avengers the first. No contest.

Does the original Star Wars and Avatar in 3D count as superhero movies?

For me, probably the Christopher Nolan Batman movies. And maybe Guardians of the Galaxy.

Actually, if he counts as a superhero... and I guess he kind of does... Flash Gordon! The one with the excellent Queen soundtrack.

Dark Knight.

Heath Ledger and Hans Zimmer's music wins it for me. Beginning bank robbery scene. Play it loud on surround sound.

I rewatched Batman '89 a while ago. I enjoy it, especially Burton's vision of Gotham. I like Nicholson's Joker as well.
As far as favorite superhero film, Deadpool or Winter Soldier would be it.
Favorite comic book movie would be the first Sin City.

In no particular order and off the top of my head:

1. Guardians of the Galaxy 1 (funny movie, like the characters, decent action, plot worked well enough)

2. Wonder Woman (always loved WW, thought Gal Gadot was great)

3. Batman (1989) (nostalgia)

4. Iron Man 1 (unexpectedly good movie that helped launch the MCU)

Non-superhero movies based on comics are a whole other list for a separate thread.

My all time favorite is probably Superman II with Christopher Reeves.
X-Men 2 and DoFP are top 5 IMO with Thor: Ragnarock and Winter Soldier.

Eric Draven is not a superhero, but 1994's, The Crow, starring Brandon Lee was a huge hit with me.

Idk why, but I'm a sucker for the Phantom and the Shadow. Those are a couple that are never in the conversation when I discuss comic movies, yet I find myself watching them every time I find them on TV.
