| This is the 1st time I have been able to post. It has been the most heart breaking time Pam & I have ever gone through. We are trying very hard to recover, but even though I know in my mind, it will get a touch better every day, it sure does not not feel that way at the moment. Pam, our family, and I can't thank you all enough for you kind words, donations, flowers, texts, posts, and emails. We would also like to thank those of you who came to the service from far and near. | Latest update from Adam. "Hey Everyone, We have received feedback from several people who would like to donate but have been out of town and/or travelling and won't be home until the weekend. Initially the plan was to close this thread tonight, but to make sure everyone who wants to donate get's a chance, we will be extending the thread until Monday 5 PM EST. (After that, people are still welcome to contact me or the group mods to facilitate individual donations) When this thread first went up, the hope was to take the burden of the funeral costs off of Steve & Pam, but I had absolutely no idea what to expect. Since then, the outpouring of support from this group, RAD, AW, and the CBCS boards has been amazing. Whether we end up achieving what we set out to or not, either way, the support you have all shown to Steve and Pam has been fantastic. So thank you to everyone who donated (whether it was their money, time, comics, artwork, advice etc) I know Steve & Pam feel the same way. I can't say thank you enough, especially to Jesse, David, Jason, Doc Watson, and Joeypost (and so many others), who helped make this possible." |
