Case in point: X-Force #1, "unopened." How will CBCS or CGC approach this for encapsulating? Will they release the book from the shrink-wrap, or does the whole lot - comic and bag - get slabbed? |

It's not shrink wrap, thank God. They will remove the book from the bag. |

If there's a card in it, I don't know what they do with them.

I think I remember CGC saying you have to remove the bag before sending it in. They don't want to be responsible for any damage that may occur when it's opened.

If there is a card or COA or extra, they do not encapsulate with book. They return the extra separate from the book. That's what they did with a book with dynamic forces COA I submitted.

CBCS will remove it and send whatever card back to you. You can get the book slabbed, or the bag, but not both together. Been there, asked that (supes 75, 500) |
