My copy picked up a while back when the first trailer came back. This has become hard to find since then. It's a pretty cool cover, must be tough to find in high grade being white.

Will hold on for a little while
longer...

Hells no, brah.

That will be a $5-$10 book in raw VF/NM to NM,2 months after Ant Man finishes its' run in theaters.

If it's a 9.8, sub it 2 day modern or fast tracked via CGC.

Anything less, it's a pump and dump at a $30+ shipping BIN.

Totally disagree. Ant-man could very well have a role in the next avengers movie.

If I sell it i will before the movie comes out. I like this book and in mm condition I'm not letting it go for less than $50. This book is climbing right now I'm ebay....gotta see where it levels off.

All the high grade BINs are getting snatoup at $25 which means they'll be relished higher later.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user

Ant-man might, but will Ghost? Has there been any lasting boost for Yellowjacket from the first movie?

Doubt that....but yeah, now is the time to list the book.

If tgere is a 100 vopies on eBay when all tge doeculators try to cash in, you just have more competition for dyeballs, and a sale.

The book is selling in VG/FN to NM- at around $20-$25 shipped for mid grade copies, just because people want a copy and movie craze is very high, before a movie comes out.

Shortly after a movie leaves the public eye, and the big baddie is killed off, the intro book of the big baddie plummets.

Even if the character is not killed, the price still drops.

Look at 1st Ultron; Avengers #54 ,and 1st Yellow Jacket.(can't remember the issue number)

I sold a raw #54 in GD+ (cover totally detached at both staples, but I dry cleaned the cover nicely) for $100 BIN a couple years back during movie hype...now I would get about $25-$35 for that book via BIN.

1st Yellow Jacket ...mid grade VG/IN raw was good for a quick $100 BIN before Ant Man 1 came out...it dropped to about a quarter of its' former glory after Yellowjacket was killed off.

$30 was a guesstimate on IM 219, based on sales I've seen over the past month or so.

Just checked, that is about right, but if it is really sweet...yeah, you can bang it out at $50 +shipping with out much redistance/problem, I'd say.👌

Only 2 sales in gpa , a 9.8 CGC Layton sig SS from March at $194...and a blue 9.6 also at $194, in April.

I think a blue 9.8 is good for about $250 + shipping.

Maybe more.

If I had a 9.8 blue, I'd pop it in a 1 day auction;right now before any other slabs hit the block.

If you can get a 9.6-9.8 out of it, get it slabbed....but don't sit on it.

These are the sorts of books that, if they do not need to be dry cleaned and they only have light wear like non color breaking spine ticks, very light corner dings....can be pressed out via a CCS Quick Press at $8 and than fast tracked.

Should take about a month and change to get it back if QP'd and FT'd at CGC.

It is a book that I would not expect to keep its value, there has to be plenty of copies in grading at CGC and CBCS right now...hell, when Ghost was announced in this movie as the big baddie, I saw someone post up a pic of a few dozen , at LEAST, cherry copies in my Facebook feed, with a tag like "headed to CGC!".

In summary, if you "gotta wait to see where it levels off".....

....watch out for the falling building collapsing over your head
. 😉☺

I am still not sure it is related but bought mine 9 months ago on the rumour

Yeah, I may have missed that rumor but I was sure it was only a matter of time in til Black Goliath was introduced into the film or Netflix MCU.

I snagged my copy out of a long box sidewalk sale for $2, about 3 years ago.

All the boxes were totally raw, not bagged/boarded.

Got a few other goodies out of those $2 boxes; including an Action 521 (1st Vixen) that I gave a spit shine and press to...got a 9.6 from CGC.

I spent a good hour spit shining the Power Man 24, pressed it afterwards...it would have fetched a 9.4, outside chance at a 9.6...buuuuut...

My dumb ass double bagged & double boarded it in a standard m2/full back plus a dilver/gold full back...put it in the front of my wall book box with maybe 1 other book that was double bagged/double boarded...all the others were in standard m2's/full backs.

Uneven pressure from the standard sized bagged books caused a few color breaking spine ticks...dropping it to a 9.0/9.2-ish book.

Basically just said eff it, and put it outta my mind. And the guy who wanted it is a good customer and really, a helluva nice guy, so I sold it to him cheaper than I would have, to anyone else.
