| @Hanginglimbs You don't sound like a jerk, and this is a heavily debated topic. I write "after so and so" on the original work, but my personal preference is to leave it off of the completed digital file of an obviously intentional homage or "swipe" because in my head that implies some level of approval by the original artist. There are artists who despise the word "cover swipe" and who adamantly defend that they are creating "homage covers",but I'm not here to take a dump in anyone else's cereal, I am just having fun and creating lighthearted tribute art  |

The second Rick is an art print available on CoverSwipes.com The Batman Who Laughs was a limited to 25 prints, and sold out in two hours and looked like this  |
