@kaptainmyke - I prefer the silver ripped from the teeth of my enemies on the battlefield (time machines rule!) ;-)

For anyone that is thinking of buying this as an investment because it's silver... don't . Silver (any metal really) is a terrible investment right now (unless you bought just before the great recession). Price of silver will continue to correct down to pre-recession levels as long as the American economy stays strong.

Metals are a great pre-recession buy. Who knows when the next one will come though

I bought a meat grinder on amazon for $60 and it's changed my life. kaptainmyke private msg quote post Address this user
Actually, right now is the time to buy silver since it is so low, at $16/oz. When I was buying silver in 2010, it was double that. Then it dropped in the last 8 years. ffs

Yep, silver topped around 45$ when the economy was crap. It just keeps tumbling. Pre recession it could be had under $10. I bought at $18 and sold at $16. Shoulda bailed at $45. Yay for losing money

I don't think anyone is buying these because they are "investing" in silver.

Dont be too surprised if that’s a factor lol, we are talking about people buying “collectibles” here

@kaptainmyke @shrewbeer I love how serious comic collectors also seem to be coin people; the attention to detail both require probably has something to do with it. Anyhow, since you both seem to be into silver, I recommend taking a look at the 1oz Geiger Edelmetalle square series; they're really something else. Of course, nothing wrong w/ Silver Eagles, Britannia's, Maple Leaf's, Libertad's, Kangaroo's, or Panda's either.

#soon

We are in uncharted waters as far as the economy goes. Never before has the Federal Government run huge budget deficits during peacetime when the economy was strong and unemployment low. Several of the major investment houses are concerned and a lot of investors are now staying "close to the exits" as the saying goes.

A number of economists think the Feds can get away with this for a year - maybe two - and then it will get bad really quick.

Of course there will be downturns. And upturns. It is cyclic.

Timing is everything.
