So I finally got these back today! And I'm actually happy that the original Amazing Spider Man 38 came back with an 8.0, when I bought it from mycomicshop.com; and they guaranteed it to be a 7.0. The newer Amazing Spider Man that I got Todd McFarlane to sign at New York Comic Con this past October, then got Stan Lee to sign it; I'm kinda disappointed in the grade. Although it's my own fault since I knew that the comic had waves and slight bends in the book. I should have submitted it for a pressing and dry cleaning with CBCS, to remove all of those. But all in all I'm happy. Thanks has to go out to Matt from Trinity Comics and his whole team for facilitating the Stan Lee signatures. |

Nothing rare about these, but then that isn't a reason for why I wanted them. I don't have any books that I had Stan sign for me, so that Stan sig is rare (for me). The closest I got to Stan was when Mike Royer and I passed him and two gorillas at last years SDCC. Sure, part of me wanted to try to meet him, but he was now on "his time" and returning to the Hotel (we were exiting). Plus he was moving forward, and at his age you don't stop that unless necessary. And did I mention the gorillas? |

My first and favorite... Hmmmm.... Since it has already been verified, I wonder what the process would be if I decided I wanted to get it pressed at some point and re-slabbed. |
