I was able to get the wife over to the Clearwater office to pick up my books dropped off on March 16th. They were ready a little over a week ago, but it's tough finding time to get over there in the middle of the day. Everything looks nice, thanks for all the updates @SteveRicketts. I'm going to dig around to find some more to drop off soon.

Why do I feel we are being treated like plaintiffs in a freaking John Grisham novel. Does it really take federal regulations or class action suits before a company cares for it's customers? Everyday I get an update on this thread and read what everyone else is going through and feel disrespected. I see people waiting almost a year for books from a company that says they will be processed within 12 weeks of receipt. There is no help, no recourse, just excuses. Scary how a two, (please don't argue three), company marketplace can give you the power to do whatever you want. Anyone else feel that if they got just one email from someone saying they messed up they wouldn't care how long it's taking? I do. These people know that we can't just ask for our books back and get a refund. They also understand that sending all of our business to someone else would cripple the industry. There is no way this wasn't discussed by the merger and acquisitions team. At some point, somebody decided it didn't matter and to keep accepting submissions. I understand that complaining doesn't make a difference but at least I spoke up. At least someone else got to see this post. The worst part is that I will even still send more orders to the same company. It's like I'm in an abusive relationship that I can't end. |

@SteveRicketts Hi CBCS, I'm trying to clarify and pay the balance on my bill but cannot get ahold of anyone in your office. I've been calling literally everyday (Mon-Fri) for the past 3 weeks (in the AM and during my lunch hour). No one has ever picked up. I've left my contact info for a return call and has not received one. please advise. |

My order currently at 32 weeks just moved from "Received" to "Billing" and now I have a 30.00 credit. Does that mean my books after 32 weeks will start moving through the process? FYI still no response to emails or phone calls to customer support after 3 weeks of trying.

Just got the email announcing that my Moderns from April 12 (just grading, no press, no VSP, etc.) have shipped. I appreciate when others keep me informed of their shipping progress, so am letting the boards know.

September 20th: website says received, invoice says submitted. Customer Service TAT guesstimate, "sometime between the end of September or October." #Soon (?) |

Then showed up as "submitted" and has been sitting there until today when I got the email and the website update as well. Looks like you skipped the sitting in "submitted" phase though. I can only imagine that when you submitted yours, all the books were still being taken back to Florida. At SDCC they told me mine are going straight to Texas. Thats the only logical way I can make sense of how ours are at a similar point considering you dropped yours off about 2 months earlier. |

@stanley_1883 Its all the stuff I had signed by Skottie Young at Comicpalooza, plus an absolutely beautiful Batman Adventures 12. I'm a Venom guy, so the What If Venom/Deadpool is high on my personal "yay" list as well. |

My submission submitted at con 2/24, marked received 3/13. 24 week processing. Modern plus pressing. Got email 8/27; in grading. Invoice went from $0 due to $28. I can’t get a hold of CBCS to figure out why or what to do about it; is it holding up the order? I’ve sent 4 emails to customer service over the last month or so... 3 weeks from last email, still shows at grading. I didn’t want to post here but I really want my books back. |

@Joosh To the best of my understanding the invoice will automatically increase if you submitted under one tier but the book is actually another, due to age or value even I suppose. Are you saying that it was previously paid in full and then an additional $28 was charged? |

Quote:Originally Posted by stanley_1883 Yup. I had 1 silver age book in the order and the additional charge is on that line item. It went from $30 to $58 for the Silver Surfer #6. If the book’s value is high enough to warrant a higher tier then I guess it’s fine; I just want to ensure my order isn’t held up for it as I have no way of verifying accuracy of and paying the balance. |

I have hit my 24 week original stated Tat for a single book submitted April 5 in person at the office, in Florida. Meantime I am watching many other people get their books back because they did not have pressing done. I guess its confusing to me because during the move we were told, that separating pressing from grading to another state would quicken press times dramatically. However, there it is..a book submitted 24 weeks ago that has not made it to pressing although original tat was 24 weeks....the estimated TAT did not shorten and is in fact going over the suggested quote. For me this was an experiment to see if I might consider doing some of my more expensive books .....I guess I am at the point I lack the temperament to mail off books and wait more than half a year for results is all. I am sure others find that quite alrght but to me it seems....out of place |

@Darkseid_of_town my books had press but were authorized witnessed (June 1-3rd submitted at a convention - still at 'received' status). Any books I have in the future that need a press will be going to 3rd party presser to cut the TAT time down - that way CBCS only has to grade them! My other problem is I like submitting at conventions so same on shipping |
