| I had a blast! Had some great conversations with Peter David, Tim Vigil, and Joe Jusko. I feel not enough people just stop and talk to these guys. I'm sure they get tired of just signing books. I got a signature from Jusko on a Marvel Preview that just happened to be his first work for Mavel which prompted a conversation about how he was still learning to draw when he did the cover and how there was no way you could get away with that in today's business. I had a book that EO that I got from him at a shop signing in Honolulu around 1992. He told me that was the last time he was even in Hawaii and how that particular book got him into trouble and the remainder of the series was never printed. For Peter David I asked him what his favorite Star Trek writing was and he finally sat back and started talking about a audio recordings of one of his books and getting a phone call from Majel Roddenberry about the Imzadi book. |
