Thanks to poka, I got this bevy of beauties in today. Safe and sound all the way from Hong Kong.

The black and white version is different artwork in a lot of aspects.

Damn, that is creepy good. I know little about modern, but thats as good as any pre code horror in my opinion.

Hello all!

It feels like forever since I've been able to do anything with my comics. I've been working an insane schedule for the past few weeks, so I'm a bit behind. However, I was able to get out and about, clear out the inbox, and even get around town for some in-store pickups!

Leading off w/ some Skottie Young pickups. He's going to be at Comicpalooza in Houston in May, where I plan to get some sig's under the AW label. In addition to the Deadpool variants I posted before (?), here are a couple of additional pickups:

Krysten Ritter will also be at Comicpalooza, so I'm getting Alias #1 or Jessica Jones #1 signed, in addition to the J.J. Funko Pop.

Charlie Cox will also be there, but I'm torn as to what Daredevil issue to have him sign. I'm thinking about going with a Punisher cover (Series 5, Issue 3) cover, and trying to pick up Jon Bernthal at a later convention; while also getting a D.D. Funko Pop signed too.

Found an absolutely beautiful Captain America 600 in a bargain bin; fifty cents well spent.

@poka is responsible for these; the X-Men Blue/Gold connecting covers. Seriously man, I should start sending you a piece of my paychecks via direct deposit just to save time.

Found Micronauts #1 in a bargain bin. Great shape, even though its not a popular title.

Not sure if I'm sold on the new Witchblade series, too early to tell. I do like the variant cover to issue #1 though! If the writing is as solid as the art on the rest of the run, I'm totally buying them all.

Some Spider-Gwen goodies I'm putting together for a friend who loves the character; should make a nice birthday gift.

Because its me, a bunch of Venom-y goodness.

Finally, the Venom #1 & ASM #800 Midtown Comics connecting variant, or as I like to call it, my pre-Christmas present.

A couple days off, and nothing but good finds. Made a trade w/ some cash for this one, and wasted no time getting it framed up and on the wall.

I made a rare trip to my LCS today and picked up this gal for about $15. Average asking price on ebay? $75-$100

The interior art for Redneck #12 was really really bad. I got a chance to get caught up on my pull list reading today. I am liking Old Man Hawkeye.
