So I have spent the last few days in Rome on vacation and travel to Pompeii tomorrow. I went to an antique shop today, but unfortunately it was closed because it’s Sunday. I did manage to find a Panini copy of GS X-Men #1 in Italian at a corner newstand shop. It even came with a life-size tin sign that has the original cover in English. Hopefully I will find more interesting stuff in the next few days.

PS - Sorry for the crappy iPod photos; I didn’t pack my scanner.

Picked up Preacher #1 and the Absolute Vertigo for $70.
Now I can get rid of my CGC SS 9.6 (didn't know about pressing when I sent this in but I don't think it would go any higher)

Been missing the Alpha Flight for too long and the X-Men 1 is the beginning of a new set idea. The Punisher I just wanted the #9 to go with my #10.

Walked 3.7 km to a Panini comic store in Florence today. It was closed even though it was 20 minutes before it’s closing time. Then walked to a train station where there was a used book store. Could only find these items:

Front cover

Back cover (interesting subject matter for a comic)

Front cover

Back cover

Not really true comic books, but I tried. Flying back to RI tomorrow.
