Picked up a second copy of Fear 19 cuz the price was low enough for an easy flip as is. That said, do ya think this would benefit from a Press? I'm thinking so. I don't have it in hand as of yet. Here are pics from the listing. |

It does appear to have several defects that could be improved with pressing.

Thanks, @SteveRicketts, I thought so. Especially along the spine.

I'm a #2. | BigRedOne1944 private msg quote post Address this user
Waste of time and money IMHO. I just would never purchase any book with an off centered cover like that regardless of how nice it was. I would even opted for a lower grade with a centered cover. Sorry... I didn't mean to be a downer on your thread |

No worries, @BigRedOne1944. The off-center cover is certainly a factor. It was a good deal nonetheless, IMO. I'll have to weigh the costs once it's in-hand.

Need more pics on whether the cost factor benefits the need of pressing.

Totally agree. Aside from the miswrap, it looks pretty solid, though. Once it arrives, I'll see if there are any hidden surprises.

That miswrap is likely fixable, I do it for fun with my books

It's fixable but the staples will be around back. Looks "off". I have a few EC Horror books like that naturally tho so it's not uncommon I guess

I wouldn't even consider it with that much of a miscut. I avoid books like that in general. Fear #19 would be an issue that I passed on buying for 20 cents. I can't see myself spending anything on it now.
