Just a few of my favorites at the moment. Miller had an almost minimalist style on Daredevil but it was so effective. I've started to gain an appreciation for Steranko's Captain America and Nick Fury work as well.

Punisher is my favorite character and I thought the Punisher/Elektra relationship worked really well, at least during Charles Soule's run on Thunderbolts so the two make a few appearances on my favorite covers:

I have this issue, and the pictures inside are so disturbing. The destruction and atrocities that "Miracle boy" did to the entire city was horrifying. I haven't gone thru that issue in probably over 10 years but I can still clearly remember some of the images.

I agree. Alan Moore and Totleben blew me away with that one by giving a true sense of what a out of control super-powered villain could really do. Kevin Smith ripped it off (poorly) for his movie Dogma.
