I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

That Ms. Marvel 9.6 was a hella good price. Almost bid on that myself.

Yeah, could be ... a LOT of Ms. Marvel #1's are like that though.

Here's what I won. Only two, kind of on a lark. The Batman was way too cheap, I thought, for a 9.6. And I like the P.S. cover.

@Tedsaid I had several copies of Ms Marvel # 1 that I sold off when the prices were higher.

Her first appearance and all of the books from the 1977 series have dropped a lot recently.

Very happy to scoop them up now while they are cheap.

They say Brie Larson has at least five more movies in her contract, whether stand alones or compilation films like Endgame is unsure....but yeah shes just getting started and once the next movie comes along the same people scrambling to sell now will be buying again....

I think Brie Larson is the reason for the price drops. Hopefully Ms Marvels wont become dollar bin books by the time she's done.

I couldn't disagree more about Brie Larson..I see many women buying the movie and or talking about her character, much in the same way some look at wonder woman.
Brie is young, and still building her craft and before shes done, I think she will be a world class actress. Marvel must have agreed by giving her such a long deal...and they dont miss much generally.

She is a talented actress but her bad attitude during he press junket for her MCU movies turned a lot of people off.

Also, they overpowered her way too much. They really could have done a much better job of sticking with the source material.

I read her entire set of comments in the interviews and found she had some very valid observations....sadly when you take excerpts or take remarks out of context and inflame sensibilities with them it makes for bad press. People will always hate.....

Having said that I agree they made the character far too powerful and then found themselves in the cursed superman syndrome where the hero is so ridiculously powered up that you have to create ways to prevent them from being the final answer....in truth if she had the powers she was supposed to, she would have snapped Thanos like a twig.

This all may lend itself well to the storyline where Rogue steals her powers as a possible movie....

Won this one today. Crappy picture so it may be a beater, but I took a chance. Two more to go.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
Catching up on some things I've won over the past month.

Not the best condition with that subscription crease, but still awesome. Will look forward to the next time Steranko is near by.

I finally got sucked into the Venom hype. Not the best copy, but perfectly fine for me.

I've decided that when I feel a little itch but don't want to spend an actual ton of money, I'm going to work on X-Men 9.8s.

Thank You
I was just talking to a friend about this very thing. It is sadly almost gotten to where you can't believe anything unless you have a half a dozen sources and tons of due diligence. very sad
I agree with you about Brie just coming into her own. I think she is going to surprise a lot of haters
