In the mid-1950's DC Comics helped Marvel Comics when they suddenly found themselves without a way to distribute their books and magazines. It's a pretty fascinating time in comic book history, right around the time of Frederic Wertham's influence among other things. I made this video to tell the tale of that time. I have a second video publishing tomorrow which talks about the mid-80s when Marvel Comics was on the verge of publishing DC's big titles, saving them from horrible sales numbers. check it out if you're at all interested in comic book history.
